The work went well. The crew was courteous and efficient. The new system looks well organized (our old system had zones added over the years so that the pipes were not set up logically) and labeled well. They listened to our concerns and followed through to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction. Also, they helped us with the process to apply for MassSave rebates that we qualified for. Also, please note that we obtained multiple bids - different boilers were recommended by most of the companies! After our research, this was the best in terms of cost and recommendations of the PR Douglas by several friends and reviewers.

The work went very well. Paul Douglas came out very promptly to evaluate the situation and provide me a contract for the installation of a new boiler. I particularly appreciated his promptness because winter was closing in. Paul coordinated his work with the asbestos removal (which was done by a separate company) and the scrap metal removal (which was also done by a separate company). The project took three days and was completed just in time for the heating season to begin. It was very easy to communicate with Paul during the project. We were pleased with Paul and everyone from his company who was involved with the work.

We had another heating company on-call for our office as a "preferred vendor"- we explained to that other company how our existing heating system was turning on but not igniting right away...and the delay was causing a "mini explosion" when it did ignite and it did not sound safe...after a week of waiting I called Douglas (who has done great work both at my home, and families homes for generations). I called in to the office directly (even though I have Paul's direct number) and was called back not only immediately, but they also they came out within 2 hours of our conversation given my description but also their perception of how dangerous our situation was. We had originally gotten an estimate of over 4 grand over the phone to replace the unit from the other company but still hadn't seen anyone- Scott from P.R Douglas came out, assessed it without hesitation, relayed what he found and that the unit was in great working condition other that a couple hundred dollars worth of parts and some fine tuning- after being released to do the work he was out within a short time, was very professional, informative, and sensitive to the normal operations of our office and trying not to disrupt them. Additionally -I personally have had prompt professional services done at my home over the last 2 years by Douglas. I plan on calling them again to service both my gas steam boilers before next winter and are the first call whenever my parents, aunts or uncles have a heating issue-

Our HVAC stopped working in the middle of one of the hottest days of the year. I called Paul Douglas and left a message. Paul returned my call within a couple of hours and scheduled his service technician the same day to analyze the problem. Scott returned the next day with the parts and the system was up and running within a matter of hours. Paul, Scott, Ed, Steve and the rest of the team are extremely professional and reasonably priced. Such a great group!

Fantastic. Very professional team. There were some challenges in getting the electrical stuff hooked up and they did a great job. Very happy with this company.
