Prairie Building and Remodeling

Prairie Building and Remodeling describes itself as locally owned, fully licensed for residential and commercial work, and fully insured. Its stated service area covers Sutton, Manchaug, Southbridge, Webster, Dudley, Oxford, Douglas, Uxbridge and Northbridge. It also appears on HomeAdvisor as CP Carpentry. In a recent Google review, Chris from Prairie Building and Remodeling replaced the roofing shingles on a customer's shed; that customer found communication "super easy and fast" and the price reasonable. On a recent remodeling job, the customer wrote, "we could not be any happier with the work they did." In a 2025 HomeAdvisor review, Christopher built a brand new deck with everything the customer wanted. In another 2025 review, he put in flooring, closet doors and an entrance door and trimmed around them, trimmed around the fireplace, and put in new plugs, switches and covers along with a new coat of paint; that customer wrote that Chris with CP Carpentry did the job faster and a little lower than the cost originally given. A 2025 HomeAdvisor review describes a storm door job that went badly: the customer wrote that he made a lot of mistakes to correct, did not complete an outside trim piece, damaged the trim that came with the storm door, and lost hold of the new door during installation, damaging a step stool. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license, 214781, is active on the state registry, with Chris Prairie as the holder of record. The business is BBB accredited with an A- grade.
