Tony Monteiro had spent more than 25 years designing kitchens, bathrooms, family rooms and entertainment centers before he started Prestige Kitchen & Bath in Needham in early 2007, according to the company. Nineteen years on, he still runs it, and the design work is his. The company describes itself as a kitchen and bath design and remodeling shop serving greater Boston, with a stated service area running from Needham through Newton, Wellesley, Dover, Sherborn, Medfield, Natick, Walpole and Westwood and on into Arlington, Brookline, Cambridge and Boston. It says it works with several cabinet lines — Tedd Wood, Siteline Cabinetry, Waypoint Living Spaces, Executive and Designers Choice — and that it has taken a Super Service Award five years running. All of that is the company's own description of itself.
