Pride Exteriors has one of the deeper and steadier records in this trade: 4.9 stars across 233 Google ratings, 162 written reviews running from 2021 to 2026 across eight sources, twenty of them in the last six months. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active under the corporate name in the state registry, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. What customers describe is a crew operation built for speed on big jobs. In July 2025 one homeowner watched Mike and Juan's crew start at 7 a.m., strip the old shingles, cut plywood over the existing deck of a 120-year-old house and re-roof it across dormers and changing pitches in a day. Another that month said the dumpster and the full crew were on site by 6:45 a.m. for a big house with tedious gutter fitting and skylight framing. A June 2026 customer with a large high-pitched roof counted a crew of over ten and singled out Ronald for explaining the details before and during the work. The range goes well past straight replacement. Reviewers describe a persistent chimney leak traced into the attic and solved, a 100-year-old skylight swapped for a custom-built one, solar panels carefully removed and reset for a roof repair on a house and its ADU, a shallow-pitch porch roof on an antique colonial that another company had botched rebuilt with a new rubber membrane, roofs shovelled in February to head off ice dams, and siding, gutters and gutter guards. A 2025 reviewer had two leaks fixed on the spot at First Baptist Church in Abington. Repeat work and named staff come up constantly — Darren, Bob, Andy, Alan, Diego, Sonny, John. One complaint is worth reading before taking the average at face value. In January 2026 a customer wrote that she had left two stars, raised it to three after the owner asked her husband to have her change it, and then regretted doing so, posting one star to say pressuring customers over reviews dilutes the stars a company earns. Her account is about the review process rather than the roof — but it is a fair reason to weigh the near-perfect score a little more carefully, and to read the written detail rather than the number.
John is an incredible roofer. He has installed roofs at several clients homes and has done so in very professional , diligent , thorough and reasonable manner! He’s extremely reliable , trustworthy and well respected in the field. Several agents have also used John for their clients and on their own homes and have only positive things to say about John. He just helped me out today by squeezing in a roof review for a home my first- time homebuyer just had inspected. Even the inspector said “Oh John is the best “ when I mentioned that I’d be asking John to take a look at the roof. Thank you John for taking such great care of my clients!
Bob from Pride Exteriors came over to provide a quote for a roof replacement along with a large number of other things related to the roof that needed repair/replacement. We also had a severe problem with bats sneaking into the house attic space under the old roof ridge vents AND problems with ice dams. Bob arrived on time to assess the project and discuss all the work I wanted to get done on the house. We walked around the house and went into the attic, and Bob went onto the roof to view the condition of the roof. While still onsite, Bob explained options for the type of shingles and colors and recommended an option that we ultimately went with. To keep the bats out, Bob recommended a high-quality ridge vent and a steel exclusion mesh. I needed louvered vents installed under the edge of the roof on one side of the roof along with gutters, gutter covers, and downspouts. I needed an attic fan removed and covered over, two new bath vents installed, and replacement of the rakes and rake trim with PVC. Bob explained how all this would be done. Aside from the roof, Bob identified some problems with our recently installed siding which you couldn’t see from the ground. Bob showed me pictures of the problems and offered to fix the siding during the re-roofing project. The next day I received a two page very detailed proposal from Bob. Everything we discussed was captured in the proposal. The price was great given all the work being done. A very small down payment was all that was needed to get the project scheduled. On the day of the project, Andy (project manager) and Juan (crew manager) showed up and introduced themselves. They did a great job reviewing the entire project proposal before any work started. Tarps were put up to protect the house, decks, and landscaping against the house. During the project, Andy was wonderful sending me pictures and texts with status of the project. If there were any questions, he would call me right away to discuss. Even though we had adverse weather come through during the day, they were able to finish up the entire job in one day. The cleanup was impeccable. No old shingles, no trash, and no nails. I still have NOT found a single roof nail in the yard. At the end of the day, Andy walked me around the house to review all the work that was done. Andy, Juan, and the rest of the crew were a great team. I was very impressed by the quality of the work. The Team at Pride was very responsive before, during, and after the job. They stand behind their work for many years. I would not hesitate to use them again.
I recently had Pride Exteriors Corp complete two full roof repairs on my home and our ADU, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The project was significant, requiring the careful removal and handling of my solar panels, but the team managed the entire process with incredible professionalism. I have to give a special shout-out to the foreman, Andy. He went above and beyond when he found a way to save our 200-year-old cupola, which meant a lot to us. It was impressive to watch the work continue seamlessly while he ran out to source the necessary materials. The team was also fantastic—everyone, especially Ron, was a pleasure to have on-site. Ron worked with the insurance adjustor and the solar company to find the cause of water intrusion and got the repairs scheduled as quickly as possible. The team managed to complete the work on both structures in a single day, and their efficiency was unmatched. I truly appreciated their clear communication and the quality of the workmanship. They even provided a 12-year workmanship warranty upon completion, which gives me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality roofing services!
Darren and the Pride team were incredible. I had a really difficult roof and they knocked it out of the park. Not only that — after they were done, the yard was spotless. Will only use Pride moving forward.
Pride Exteriors provides excellent customer service. I had a small but persistent leak from my chimney into my attic. They were able to diagnose and solve the problem. Knowledgeable, professional and courteous service. Thank you!
