Prides Hardwood Floor

5 stars just isn't enough. A friend of mine recommended Prides Hardwood for getting the floors of our new home refinished. Mike and his team are true professionals and did a phenomenal job on the floors, filled in some gaps, replaced an eight foot section of the hallway to match the rest of the wood in the house (see the photo where the tile is visible), added shoe molding throughout the house, and even search local supply companies to match the moulding around the fireplace to fill in a one inch gap. He did such a great job that we hired him to paint the entire house top to bottom. He did some accent walls, 5 coats of paint on a dark green wall, and provided great advice for paint finish based on the 70 year old walls. The house looks brand new. He was punctual, completed the job in the time frame he provided, cleaned up everything, and also called each morning to check in and tell us what he would be working on that day. On his business card he mentions that he is a perfectionist, and it is true. After we paid in full and were thrilled about the house, on the final day he took a look at the back room and said that he wanted to add another coat because he wanted it to be perfect. Mike is a true professional and we highly recommend him and his team!!!

If we could give Mike 10 stars, we would. Communication from the start was a breeze. He always got back to us quickly and professionally, and made it a priority to keep us in the loop. Our refinished floors are beautiful and we could not have imagined a better outcome. His fees are VERY reasonable, his work ethic is bar none, and his skill is stellar. I would recommend him over anyone else in a heartbeat.

Pride was amazing. We were moving into a new house with our toddler, Mike agreed to take our job last minute, then agreed to move our job up to go faster. When things started to fall through, he rearranged his schedule TWICE to make everything fit and then he finished two full days ahead of schedule and the floors look great. On top of all of that, his quote was literally $1,000 less than two other quotes. I wish I could give more stars! I will recommend Mike to everyone.
