Twelve five-star reviews across Google and Thumbtack this year, and one name running through them: Yariel Lizardo, who Thumbtack lists as the background-checked owner of Lopez Flooring Services LLC in Everett. The work is floor covering — pulling up wall-to-wall carpet, laying vinyl plank, new carpet, tile — in the ordinary rooms of a house: a bedroom and hallway, a basement, a condo, a bathroom. Thumbtack puts the company at six years in business and 11 hires; the written reviews all date from 2026. Five of those twelve reviews turn on timing. A July customer wrote that they arrived exactly when they said they would and called the work meticulous, then passed Yariel's card to a neighbor. In June, a Thumbtack customer said Yariel and his team showed up right on time for a small job and recommended future work on the basement floor without pushing them one direction or overcharging. A third homeowner got him out on short notice and already had the next job planned. Subfloors are where a flooring job turns complicated, and a July basement LVP install ran straight into one: the floors were not flat. The customer bought self-leveler, Yariel leveled the floor, came back in a timely manner and put the plank down, awkward corners and all. Leveling turns up again in another July review, between the old carpet coming out and the new flooring going down. Two things are worth settling before booking. The first is that subfloor question — in the basement job the homeowner bought the leveling compound, so ask who supplies and pays for prep material if your floor turns out uneven. The second is scope: Thumbtack's service list runs past flooring into tile installation and repair, carpet repair and interior painting, so if your project crosses into those, confirm what he takes on. For a single-room floor swap — carpet out, vinyl plank or new carpet in, in a basement, condo or bedroom — Lopez Flooring is a straightforward call. Settle the subfloor prep and who buys the leveling compound before the price is fixed.
I would definitely hire lopez flores again they are very proffesional and truthworthy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I had a great experience working with this pro on my carpet replacement project. He was punctual, professional, and communicated clearly throughout the job. The work involved removing old carpet and installing new carpet in a bedroom and hallway, and everything was completed with excellent attention to detail. What impressed me most was his flexibility and problem-solving ability. A few unexpected issues came up during the installation, and he handled them calmly and efficiently without cutting corners. He took the time to make sure everything was done properly rather than rushing through the work. The quality of the installation was excellent, and the finished result looks great. I appreciated his reliability, workmanship, and willingness to adapt when challenges arose. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for carpet installation or similar home improvement projects. ⭐ 5/5 - Highly recommended.
