The written record runs from 2021 to 2025 and keeps returning to the same trait: careful, unhurried work. In a July 2025 Thumbtack review, a customer credited Ferraz with personally making sure a pool retiling job was done correctly, with the work area left completely cleaned up; another reviewer that same month praised the attention to detail on a job. In January 2025, a homeowner who had gotten quotes from six contractors chose Ferraz for a bathroom tub-and-floor job, citing his thoroughness on an old, unlevel house, while a second review from that month described a tile job finished in under a week after being put off for over a year. Older accounts echo the same pattern: a 2024 Google review praised a fast-turnaround kitchen backsplash, a 2021 Google review called the work quick and pleasant to deal with, and a 2021 Thumbtack review described extra time spent on water sealing and prep before the tile went down. The one sour note is a 2022 Google review describing a scheduled Saturday estimate that got pushed to the following Monday — and then never happened, with no follow-up call. It is an isolated account among the eight reviews on file, but worth asking about directly. Separately, the business's licensing picture is muddled on paper: BuildZoom's own profile lists license #200835 as both "Active" and, in another section of the same page, as "Inactive" and cancelled, alongside two other unrelated license numbers marked cancelled. For a straightforward tile job — a floor, a backsplash, a shower surround — the reviews point to a contractor who takes his time and communicates well once work is underway. Before booking, it is worth confirming his current license status directly and getting a firm appointment time in writing, given the one missed-appointment account on record.
