Another customer wrote in 2025 that Chris was quick to schedule and had done several different jobs for them. In 2019, the local news site thewestfieldnews.com reported that two painters with Pro Coat Painting of Huntington were scraping the paint off the Montgomery Town Hall. A 2010 customer said they removed a house full of wallpaper and painted, and that the job was done quickly. A 2008 customer said the owner checked the job every day when not working on it. A 2012 customer who had the whole interior painted said there was very little prep, the trim started chipping and peeling right away, and they were charged for much more paint than was used. A 2011 customer said the trim work was sloppy, numerous touch-ups were needed, and they never got a call back when they tried to raise their concerns.
