— an April reviewer praised care with exterior details
Cabinet refinishing — a January 2025 customer praised the finished kitchen cabinets
One Fresh Start Painters customer described Josh making several walkarounds with them near the end of a five-day painting job to check the finish. That May 2026 reviewer also named Johan, Alex and Daniel as crew members they enjoyed having at the house.
Exterior work includes house staining and painting. A June customer said Joshua and his team stained their house exterior, worked quickly and neatly, and supplied fair estimates. Another customer praised the exterior finish on a historic house and the care taken with preparation. In that April review, they said they subsequently hired Josh to finish the shutters as well and praised the clean condition of the job site.
Kitchen cabinets are another completed job customers describe. In a January 2025 review, a homeowner said Josh had refinished and painted their kitchen cabinets a few weeks earlier. They had already started updating the kitchen with flooring and appliances but chose to keep the cabinets. They credited Josh with changing the kitchen’s appearance and praised his communication and patience throughout the cabinet project.

From start to finish, Josh and his crew were professional and the results of the finished product were exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for an A+ paint job, Fresh Start Painters is your answer.
We highly recommend Fresh Start Painters for the professionalism demonstrated in all the stages of our project and, very especially, for the stellar final results. We asked them to stain the exterior of our house and they worked fast, neatly and competently, far exceeding our expectations. All went smoothly: friendly and professional communication, fair estimates, impeccable execution, timeliness and excellent specialist knowledge. We are deeply grateful to Joshua and his team. Big thank you!
Josh and his team were amazing. We had absolute confidence in them the whole time and as we got near the end of the 5-day job Josh did several walkarounds with us to make sure everything was perfect and there was nothing that needed fixing at the end of the job.
I can’t say enough about the crew that was with us for most of the job. Johan Alex and Daniel were all polite, kind, funny, and efficient. Enjoyed having them at the house working.
I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Fresh Start painting. Best experience with painters I’ve ever had.
Josh and his team came recommended from a friend and she was not wrong about them. Josh is professional, personable, and reliable. The team was courteous and left the job site immaculate. We are very pleased with the way the house exterior turned out, and subsequently hired Josh to finish our shutters as well. They were also sensitive to the historic nature of the house and all the details that needed careful preparation. We can’t recommend Josh highly enough!
Josh recently completed an interior job (total refinishing/painting of our kitchen cabinets) at our home a few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Our kitchen needed some love so we started with some new flooring and appliances, but we didn't want to splurge on new cabinets. I called Josh to inquire about his services and he was so communicative, professional, pleasant, and more importantly patient with us throughout the entire process. Our satisfaction and happiness with each phase of the project was his No. 1 concern. He transformed the look of our kitchen and we will absolutely be using him again for future projects! I have attached before and after pictures. Thank you Josh and Fresh Start Painters!
