Pro Quality Carpentry

When a homeowner in 2023 could not find anyone willing to custom-build a cane-door linen closet — several builders said it was too small to bother with — Andre Soares took the job. That is the shape of much of Pro Quality Carpentry's work: the built-in nobody else wants to figure out. A kitchen nook bench and a shoe cabinet by the front door in 2025. A walnut powder-room vanity in 2024. Master bedroom cabinetry designed and installed in 2022. The company gives Burlington as its base, names Burlington, Lexington and Boston as its service area, and says it has been at this for 15 years. Its own site describes finish carpentry — trim, crown molding, custom cabinets, accent walls, shiplap — alongside kitchen renovations, and advertises free estimates. The recent jobs are bigger. A complete kitchen remodel finished in March 2026 was described as on time with the job site kept clean. In May 2026 a customer remodeling a kitchen and living room in an older house said Andre explained each problem as it surfaced, which is most of what you want when a wall opens up. In July 2026 another homeowner mentioned he brought in a plumber to finish setting the sink and dishwasher. Speed comes up across the years. A 2022 customer said work started 48 hours after the first call. In 2025 a bi-fold door was swapped for a locking one and finished the same day, with the new trim matched to the rest of the house. A 2023 customer had him working evenings so an accent wall would be done before move-in. One thing to sort out on a small job: a 2023 reviewer, who still gave four stars, wrote that the work took less than the three-hour minimum, so they handed over two more tasks to fill the time — including one several handymen had failed at, which took him five minutes. Worth knowing where the older accounts come from: reviews written in 2022 place Andre and Pro Quality in Boca Raton, Florida, while the company's own site is Massachusetts. For custom cabinetry, built-ins, or a kitchen where the trim details decide the result, this is a strong call — line up a short list of tasks rather than one quick fix, and ask how the minimum is billed.
