Prodigy Contractors Inc, run by Nery Castaneda out of Lynn, is a genuinely broad operation — doing remodeling work like concrete, carpentry, plaster, tiling, and interior painting, plus a full slate of yard and property care through LawnStarter: leaf removal, lawn mowing, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, flower bed weeding, and more. On the contracting side, a 2024 Angi review describes a $427 room restoration done cleanly and professionally, with the customer planning to call again; another names Nery directly for being attentive to detail. On the yard-care side, a January 2025 Thumbtack review describes same-day snow removal and salting that kept a driveway safe, and a February 2025 review calls Prodigy the best hire made on the platform, citing punctuality and reliability. Worth knowing: Angi, HomeAdvisor, and Thumbtack each show a perfect 5.0-star average, but each is built on just five reviews. A separate LawnStarter listing for the same business — Nery Castaneda named as the operator — shows a considerably larger and more mixed picture: a 4.22 out of 5 average across 150 reviews, spanning 801 completed jobs and 68 regular customers, with 98% marked on time. That broader number is worth weighing alongside the smaller platforms' perfect scores, since it reflects a lot more completed work. For a remodeling job — painting, tiling, concrete, or a small restoration — or ongoing yard care like mowing, cleanups, or snow removal, the specific accounts on file describe attentive, reliable work; the larger LawnStarter track record suggests that holds up across volume, even if not every one of those 150 jobs earned five stars.
