Domini Finishes Inc. is a Greater Boston finishing contractor whose strongest visible lane is painting paired with finish carpentry, drywall and plaster work. Its Massachusetts HIC license 218582 is registry-verified active, and the company describes itself as family-owned. The recent Google history is unusually consistent: 10 ratings average 5.0, and all 10 written reviews are from April through September 2026. Homeowners describe exterior painting, patching after electrical work, paint matching, trim and mounting jobs, clean work areas, prompt explanations and crews that finish on time. One reviewer said more than 10 wall and ceiling openings were restored so cleanly they were no longer visible; another said the company was hired again after patching and matching paint following a rental-unit electrical fire. The company’s own service list covers finish carpentry, drywall installation and repair, plaster, decorative finishes, cabinet refinishing, and interior and exterior painting. Confirm the scope and who will perform any work beyond finishing, especially when a project follows electrical or other specialty trades. Domini Finishes looks suited to homeowners seeking detailed painting, trim, drywall, plaster or restoration finishing in the Greater Boston area. Verify the written estimate, current insurance and the exact license scope before booking.
I have had painting and mounting jobs done by him and in every instance Dominic did impeccable work. He is professional, on time and very reasonable. I had some electrical work done where there were multiple patches and you truly cannot even tell they were ever there. Truly professional workmanship.
Very responsive and excellent to work with. Would highly recommend Domini Finishes!
Exceptional service! Ryan and his crew did an amazing job painting the exterior of our house. They not only delivered the results that we expected, but also made a difference for being excellent in explaining every doubt we had along the project. A differential highlight about this company is their neatness, everything was left clean and spotless - no paint chips among my plants - and everything was properly covered. Definitely recommend and will use again.
I recently experienced an electrical fire in one of my rental units, which required a full replacement of the outdated wiring and resulted in over 10 large openings in the walls and ceilings. After the electrical work was completed and brought up to code, I hired Domini Finishes to handle the patching and repainting. Ryan exceeded expectations—completing the work ahead of my requested timeline, which I greatly appreciated. The final results were outstanding. The walls and ceilings were restored so seamlessly that you would never know they had been opened up. The workmanship was clean, precise, and highly professional. I highly recommend Domini Finishes for their quality, efficiency, and professionalism. Thank you again for the excellent work!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience! The team was extremely professional, punctual, and attentive from start to finish. The painting work was flawless, with outstanding craftsmanship and great attention to detail. They protected the furniture, kept everything clean and organized throughout the project, and completed the job on time as promised. I am very satisfied with the results and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for quality, reliability, and professionalism. I will definitely hire them again for future projects!
