Two customers have written about QInnervisionconcepts, and they describe opposite experiences — that split is the first thing worth knowing about this Mattapan contractor. The harsher account is also the more detailed one. In a September 2018 review on BuildZoom, a customer described a three-story porch renovation that went wrong: they wrote that the contractor took a down payment, abandoned the job, and that they were suing to recover $17,000. That is one person's account of one job rather than a proven finding, but it is specific, and it is the only close description of the actual work on file. The other is a January 2017 Angi review of an asphalt shingle roofing repair — five stars, and short: the crew finished on time and the customer was pleased. Both accounts are old; the newest dates to September 2018. Angi carries the company's own description of itself: a second-generation Boston contractor with 11 years of experience, Spanish spoken, and self-reported affiliations including a HUD 203k consultant designation, a Mass Lead Safe Contractor listing, and a former City of Boston building inspector. Angi also lists a home improvement contractor registration, with no number attached. None of that has been checked against the state registry, so read it as the company's claim rather than a confirmation. BuildZoom shows 16 projects, and its services list on Angi runs to bathroom and kitchen remodels, asphalt shingle roofing, additions and renovations, and architectural and design work. If you call them, the 2018 complaint is the conversation to have first, and it should shape how you structure money: a small deposit, payments released against completed stages, the whole scope in a written contract. Confirm the home improvement contractor registration yourself with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs before signing, and ask for references from jobs finished in the last two years — the written history here stops in 2018.
