John's reports come back fast and with pictures. A first-time buyer writing in February 2025 said the detailed report, photos and all, arrived within 24 hours, and called the price reasonable. A 2022 client said they picked the company over others because the first phone call was helpful and unbiased, and a 2021 buyer described him turning up an hour early to start on the outside of the house before walking them through everything he found. Not everyone came away pleased. A February 2024 reviewer objected to the method — poking at property with a screwdriver and leaving holes — said he offered opinions on design rather than what mattered, and called him a deal killer who wants multiple inspections. That reviewer writes about "his clients" and "other peoples property", so the complaint comes from outside the inspection they are describing. The Google page averages 4.6★ across 21 ratings, and the written accounts on it run from 2021 to February 2025. For a first purchase, where you want someone to start early, explain what he found and send a photo report the next day, that is what his clients describe. Ask what the inspection covers, how he tests what he cannot see, and whether a second visit is expected — the 2024 complaint turns on exactly those questions.

Not impressed honestly. This guy walks around poking other peoples property making holes with a screw driver. He gives opinions about design related things instead of things that actually matter. Typical deal killer who wants multiple inspections with his clients. It's sad that Massachusetts allows inexperienced people to be inspectors with very little construction experience. I wouldn't hire this company if it was the only company in the world.

John is a top notch home inspector, and exactly the kind of person you’ll want to come inspect your home. He showed up to our new house an hour early to start examining the outside of the house, and walked us through everything. He was so knowledgeable about the age of our new home (1940’s) and thoroughly examined every nook and cranny of the house. John found evidence of mold in places we would have never thought to look, he found uncapped wires that we clearly missed, and his attention to detail of the home was so impressive. It felt like he had been doing this for 50 years. John is also a super nice person and is very patient with first time home buyers. His report came the very next day with clear pictures and detailed comments. I would recommend him to anyone!
