A cast iron sewer main that had rotted out, replaced after the crew showed the homeowner the problem on camera: that is one recent job at Quinns Plumbing & Propane, where Kyle explained why such problems happen. The company's website lists drain cleaning, emergency plumbing, leak repairs, water heater, sewer, well and sump pump work, and names a service area of Anson, Augusta, Oakland, Norridgewock, Waterville, Winslow, Fairfield, Skowhegan, Farmington and Madison. A recent customer says Quinn and his crew walked them through having their sewer line replaced. A recent customer says the company came the same day they called, replaced a pressure tank and hooked up the pipes. A recent customer says Ben replaced a toilet within two days of the request, and the job was estimated correctly. A recent customer says Pablo closed their camp and answered their questions. A 2026 customer with a remote cabin in Somerset County said Quinn came out on Christmas Eve when a valve broke, then helped with a frozen pipe in the kitchen. A 2025 customer said the company fixed their septic system in one day and found a second tank no one else knew about. A 2024 customer said Quinn got an 1800s house in North Anson that had gone years without flowing water running the same day. A recent customer says the company offered a 9am Tuesday appointment for a stopped water pump over a holiday weekend, and nobody came after three days without water. A recent customer says Quinn gave an estimate for an install, then missed the Thursday window with no call. A recent customer says a shower cartridge swap was billed $600 as a standard house call charge that was not disclosed until the work was done. A 2024 customer said Quinn did not show for a scheduled estimate and then would not reschedule.
Quinn’s came out the same day we called when we had an issue. Same day service and very nice, awesome customer service!! They come when you call, when you have a plumbing emergency, very responsible, respectful. They explain what is wrong if they run into more problems. They replaced a pressure tank and hooked up the pipes. Way to go guys!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! 😊☺️
Pablo did an excellent job closing my camp. He was very knowledgeable and also answered my questions. I highly recommend him.
UNBELIEVABLE. Called on the Friday night of a three day holiday weekend because our jetflo home water pump stopped running and they advertise 24/7 emergency service. Appreciated that I was able to talk with someone about it and was specifically offered an appointment for 9am Tuesday, not ideal but we were willing to wait. After going THREE DAYS with no water, NOBODY showed up for our appointment to help us. After calling, was treated as a nuisance and told they could try to get to my by the next morning. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! Called another local plumber and they were here and had our pump replaced within two hours. Don't waste your time.
Ben did a fantastic job replacing a toilet. In and out quickly, the job was estimated correctly and they came within two days of my requesting it to get it replaced. FAST SERVICE! Communicated well and showed up ON TIME!
I spoke with Quinn on Monday regarding scheduling an install and he seems like a friendly guy. He provided me with a quick estimate and said he could come by Thursday between 3 and 5pm. I followed up on Thursday morning with no response and again after he missed the appointment window with no response. I imagine he's rather busy and I would have understood if he had just reached out to reschedule. Unfortunately, it was a no call no show.
