A recent customer said their A/C system was fixed within 20 minutes and called Bryan knowledgeable and kind. R & B Air Conditioning & Heating holds 4.7 stars from 52 ratings on Google, and the company says it has been in business 42 years. A recent customer whose A/C failed during a July heatwave said the technician, expected in the mid afternoon, showed up around 9.30pm and took 10-15 minutes to fix the unit. A recent customer called technician Kevin friendly, professional and efficient, and said the company is more than fair with its pricing. A 2023 customer said Russ, called out to quote a propane furnace, encouraged them to keep their current AC and look at a fireplace insert instead, even though R&B does not install hearth products. A 2022 customer said that when their furnace had issues, the company was transparent about the options and did not try to immediately sell them a replacement. When that 2022 customer did replace the furnace, they said they received a fair quote and the installation was expedited because they had an infant in the house. A 2024 customer said that after several visits, R&B replaced a coil with a pinhole leak and agreed to top off the system until parts were sourced. A 2025 customer said R&B came out the same day, within 45 minutes of an inquiry, for commercial refrigeration maintenance, and that the tech, Franky, resolved both issues in less than a couple of hours. A 2025 customer who gave 2 stars said a technician got one AC unit running by replacing a capacitor, but said a second unit needed an electrician for a broken wire inside the wall; after he left, that customer found a loose wire at the thermostat and tightened it, and the unit started. That 2025 customer said a leak the technician blamed on a clogged drain line turned out to be a crack in the plastic drip tray, and that the company was still going to charge for the labor and parts. A 2024 customer said a tech could not diagnose their leaking AC, there was still no follow-up on a replacement part after 3 weeks, and they were charged $300 before another company diagnosed the problem.

My A/C failed during the heatwave on July 2nd ... called R&B in the morning on the 3rd... The technician called back that he will be at my place in the mid afternoon...he showed up like 9.30pm. Have no issue with that ... the temp was still in the high 90s and I can only imagine how many A/Cs failed in the area and how busy they must've had been. Once the technician arrived it took him 10-15 minutes to fix my unit. I truly appreciate the R&B's customer service as well as the technician's professionalism and dedication. Will truly recommend the R&B
I would give this company 20 stars if I could. Customer service is top notch, and Kevin, the technician, is friendly, professional and efficient. The company responds quickly and is more than fair with their pricing.
I would like to start by saying that I will never be using these people again and I don’t think that you should either. I am giving 2 stars instead of only 1 because they were able to fix one of our AC units, but that’s the only thing they fixed. We called them out to check both of our AC units because neither one was running. For one of them he was able to replace a capacitor and it started right up, easy. For the second one he said it wasn’t receiving a signal but he tried replacing the capacitor “just in case” and that didn’t fix it. So then he tried measuring the output from the thermostat and saw that one of the wires wasn’t sending a signal. After he walked around for a few minutes he told us there must be a broken wire inside of the wall that we would have to hire an electrician to replace. After he left I looked and the only issue was a loose wire going into the thermostat. After I tightened it down the AC unit started right up. Because of his negligence we could have paid a bunch of money to hire an electrician, and for what? Tightening a screw? That’s not the end of it either. We also asked if he could take a look at one of the units because it was causing a leak from the ceiling and he claimed that the only thing it could be is a clogged drain line so he blew it out and told us it wouldn’t happen any more. Well later that night I stepped into a puddle because it wasn’t a clogged drain line. I had to crawl around to discover it was a crack in the plastic drip tray. We had also asked if he could take a look at our upstairs heating system because it wasn’t working but by that point he told us to call back in the fall because we wouldn’t need heat for a few months. And after calling to inform them of these issues they ignored us and are still going to charge for all of this “labor” and unnecessary replacement parts. The technician was rushing out the door the whole time he was there because he had a bunch more jobs to do that day and we weren’t the priority. Either this company needs to hire more people so that the technicians can take their time when on the job or they need to improve their training process because these things should not get missed.
