All City Remodeling Co is a Peabody, Massachusetts general contractor that the Better Business Bureau records as a sole proprietorship started on 1 October 1984 with one employee, run by Gerald Casaletto. Its Houzz profile describes a particular niche: insurance restoration — putting houses back together after fire, water and mould damage, working alongside insurance and independent adjusters. That niche is what the strongest accounts are about. A homeowner writing in March 2023 said Gerry helped their family rebuild after a fire, coordinated with their public adjuster, kept them in constant communication so they were never left in the dark, and came back afterwards to confirm everything was as they wanted; they posted before-and-after photos of a kitchen and bedroom that had been destroyed. A May 2022 client rebuilt after major tree damage and singled out the scheduling — no down time between crews, everyone arriving on time. In December 2022 a Houzz reviewer had a bathroom taken down to the studs after water damage and converted a tub to a shower; they described the tiling and caulking as finished without a crack or blob anywhere, and said Gerry answered questions by text throughout and sent progress photos at the end of each day. A May 2023 account describes an attic converted to living space with a full bathroom, crediting a crew lead the customer calls Jimmie. Two things a homeowner should weigh against that. The first is a November 2017 review on BuildZoom from a customer whose house the company rebuilt after a 2006 fire: when they went to sell, a structural engineer found Lally columns missing against the blueprints and beams bowing and cracked, and quoted $15,000 to $22,000 of remediation; the reviewer says the owner's response was that they had gained square footage. The second is licensing. BuildZoom's records list two Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registrations for this business, both inactive and described as cancelled at some point, and the profile carries an alert that there is no active licence on file — while the BBB separately records licence number 121110 with the state's Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and CS-066091 with the Office of Public Safety and Inspections. Nothing in either direction has been confirmed against the state registry here. The ratings split along the same line: HomeAdvisor shows 5.0 from eight ratings and Houzz 5.0 from one, while BuildZoom shows 3.0 from two — the difference being that one 2017 account. If you have a fire or water loss and want a contractor who works the insurance side, this is squarely their trade. Before signing, look up the Home Improvement Contractor registration yourself on the state's Consumer Affairs site, confirm it is current, and for any structural work get the framing plan and the columns specified in writing and inspected.

We cannot say enough about our positive experience working with Jimmie and his crew from All City Remodeling. We remodeled an attic space including a full bathroom, and we couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. He is the real deal: honest, reliable, detailed, and communicative. All City Remodeling not only met but exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, we'll be calling Jimmie for any and all future projects!
Gerry did an amazing job with helping me and my family rebuild our home after a loss due to a fire. Both Gerry and Seltsers & Goldstein Public Adjusters Very responsive and communicative. Gerry went above and beyond to make sure everything was up to standard and done correctly. I really appreciated the constant communication so I was never left in the dark. Because there was a time restraint there were minor details that were a little off but nothing major that we couldn't fix. Gerry actually did more than he needed to but it was very tremendously appreciated. He even followed up and made sure everything was how we wanted it. Gerry and his team made our home feel like home again after a tragedy and I do recommend using his services. Attached are some before and afters of the kitchen and bedroom that were both destroyed in the fire and the amazing job Gerry and his team did! They also fixed the outside panel (imagine not shown) and it looks like nothing ever happened. Thank you again Gerry!
I have no experience with construction so I didn't know what I didn't know. Luckily, I found a contractor with tons of experience and patience. Due to water damage, I needed to do a complete renovation of my bathroom down to the studs and under the tile floor. I was going to take the opportunity to convert a tub to a shower, too. It turned out so beautifully. Starting out, all I knew for sure was the exact wall color and floor tile design I wanted. I got both of those. The "extra" Gerry suggested was a certain color grey grout for the white subway tile as well as the floor tile. I wanted nothing to do with white subway tile because it seems to be everywhere. Still though he convinced me and he was right because the subway tile imho recedes against the black and white floor tile. What joins them and makes them match is the grey caulk. (Btw The caulking and tiling is beautifully done with no cracks or creases or blobs anyplace. Smooth as silk.) as you may be able to tell from the pictures I posted, it was a simple job — well it looks like a somple job anyway. During the process Gerry was available via text constantly to answer questions. At the end of the day he'd send me several pictures showing the work's progress. I'm not sure if this is normal but it was absolutely great to see it all come together bit by bit. I guess if I had one word to describe Gerry's work it would be "Extra" — he brings his best game and he knows what he's doing and he kills it. He's a not bossy, very nice man who does excellent work.
The ultimate professional. Great customer service. Perfect planning so there was no down time from one crew to the next. All crew members arrived on time, had great attention to detail, and went above and beyond my expectations. I now have a beautiful, sturdy, home inside and out after major tree damage. It was truly a pleasure working with Jerry and his crew of professionals.
They did an outstanding, professional job. They went above and beyond what other contractors usually offer.
