More than two dozen Google reviews of Radon Solutions of CT name the same person: Ralph, the radon specialist who inspects, quotes and installs. The Clinton company is a division of Water-Flo, which describes itself on its website as a small, family-owned water and well business, and it holds a 4.9 from 65 ratings on Google and a 4.9 from 34 on both Angi and HomeAdvisor. The recent reviews are about radon mitigation systems and whether they worked. A July 2026 customer said Ralph inspected the house, quoted on the spot, and the install "only took about an hour", with radon levels dropping "from 8 to 1." A June 2026 reviewer said Ralph installed a mitigation system and sealed the expansion joints, which lowered basement radon "to acceptable levels." A July 2026 customer said Ralph "leaves the work space clean." In a March 2026 review, a customer said the radon system was replaced quickly after ice and snow pushed a gutter off the house. Two December 2025 reviews describe fixing another company's work: one said Ralph "helped us fix a botched job by another radon company", the other that he fixed "a very shoddy, poorly installed mess" left by another contractor. A November 2025 customer whose home inspection found radon said the company gave a cost range before the purchase and a final quote on the low side of it, then worked out where to hide the fan and pipe on the back of the house. In 2025, two reviewers mentioned texts before arrival, one saying they liked hearing when Ralph "was 30 minutes out." A May 2024 customer in Branford described setting up the appointment with Linda and the install with Ralph. The one complaint is older. In a 2018 review, a customer said the crew had to come back to re-tighten a dripping water filter, and that the service charge for a second visit about a wet basement floor "was high to tell me that nothing was wrong with the system." Ralph was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He came out to inspect our house and gave us a quote on the spot that was right in line with other local radon companies we’d looked into (Water-Flo, Inc. and Radon Solutions of CT, Inc.). We got an installation date scheduled quickly, and the actual install only took about an hour. Throughout the whole process, Ralph was professional, informative, and just genuinely nice to deal with — he explained what he was doing and answered all our questions. Best of all, it worked: our radon levels dropped from 8 to 1 after the system went in. Highly recommend him if you need radon mitigation done right.
