Rapid Masonry & Construction LLC

Rapid Masonry & Construction is a Somerville-based masonry contractor run by Barney Mcginley; a matching Thumbtack profile lists the company at 25 years in business with 8 employees. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license is verified active. The written record is short but specific. A 2024 review described Barney coming out quickly with a fair quote, then repairing and installing new brick and limestone work in two days. Another 2024 review described stair and chimney repair finished cleanly with no mess left behind, with the customer planning to bring the company back for a wall rebuild. A third described a basement-finishing job done well. With only a handful of reviews so far, it's worth asking for a few current references — but what's here points to reliable, tidy masonry work.
