Rbk Enterprises Inc

A 2024 Thumbtack customer describes a substantial home remodel, praising the planning, punctuality, communication and finished work. RBK Enterprises Inc. presents itself as a residential and commercial general contractor serving Boston and nearby Greater Boston communities, with kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and new construction among its listed work. Its website says it has served the area since 2015; BBB identifies Richard Kumpel as president, and the company lists eight employees on Thumbtack. The customer review is detailed and positive, but it is one dated account. Google shows 5 stars from 23 ratings, and Thumbtack shows 5 stars from one review; those platform numbers are useful context, while the written history remains limited. The BBB profile is A+ rated and accredited. BuildZoom lists 12 permitted projects and a score of 101. The licensing details need checking before a Massachusetts project. RBK’s website says it is licensed and insured and lists Pennsylvania registration PA020150. BuildZoom’s Massachusetts license page shows Construction Supervisor license CS-111689 as active in September 2025, but also lists it inactive and says state data showed it had at one point been cancelled; HIC registration 187010 is listed inactive. These are BuildZoom’s statements, not a current registry verification. Ask the company for its current Massachusetts credentials and verify them with the state before signing. The company’s published service area covers a broad group of nearby communities, so it may fit a Boston-area kitchen or home-remodeling project. Confirm the project scope, who will supervise the work, and the current status of any required license before booking.
