Red Wagon Home LLC

Red Wagon Home is a Beverly-based remodeling company — additions, whole-house remodels, kitchens and baths, and exterior work — that says it specializes in homes over 100 years old and in working inside local historic-commission rules. The company says it's been operating since 2007, and its Massachusetts home-improvement-contractor registration is active. Building-permit records show real project scale even though the written reviews are sparse: a $124,000 kitchen and dining remodel in Topsfield in 2023, a $102,000 siding and window job in Beverly in 2024, and a two-phase historic facade restoration in Danvers in 2020 that the Danvers Historic Commission signed off on. The one written review on file, from 2014, describes owner Matthew Trumbull building "beautiful" custom window seats and shelving, calling him "honest, meticulous and a pleasure to do business with." The company has held Massachusetts contractor registrations before this one — two earlier numbers are listed inactive — though its current registration checks out as active. For a homeowner with an older home, or a project that needs to clear a local historic commission, Red Wagon's permit history speaks louder than its review count; worth asking to see recent work given how few written reviews are on file.
