Redmond HVAC LLC is a Worcester-based heating and cooling company founded by Timothy Redmond in 1987. Its own site describes residential and commercial work centered on geothermal heat pumps, Mitsubishi air-source and ductless systems, high-efficiency heating and cooling, and solar hot-water systems. Two Google reviews from 2022 and 2023 give the available customer history real detail. A 2023 homeowner described a leaking geothermal heat pump and said Tim recommended repairing the 14-year-old unit rather than replacing it, while a 2022 customer praised his decades of heat-pump experience, explanations, installation work, and fair pricing. The written history is small, so ask about current availability, system design, warranty and repair coverage, and the specific equipment proposed. The company is a sensible fit for homeowners considering geothermal or other high-efficiency HVAC work who want a direct conversation with an experienced installer; confirm the scope and terms before booking.

I had Tim come to my home to assess my geothermal heat pump. This summer it started leaking refrigerant and repairs had to be made twice. I had several companies come out to assess the unit and all said the 14 year old unit needed replacing. After Tim assessed the unit, he said there is no need to replace a 14 year old unit because typically they last 25 years. He told me that it can still be repaired if it breaks again. The repair would be difficult and a lot of work but it wouldn't need replacing. It makes me so happy to know there is someone willing to tell you the truth even if it makes them no money at the time. If/when my unit breaks again or needs replacing, Tim is the only person I will call! Thanks Tim!
We chose Tim Redmond for the installation of our 5 ton ground source heat pump. We knew Tim from our previous HVAC installation. Tim has decades of heat pump experience and is extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to describe the installation process and answer all your questions. Tim is fair on pricing and you can trust him. Redmond HVAC is the one you want to go to for your ground source heat pump installation.
