The volume here is real: 81 reviews since 2020 across Google, Angi and Thumbtack, most of them five stars. Customers describe Marcos personally stopping by job sites multiple times to check progress, and accommodating specific requests — one reviewer with chemical sensitivities credited him for working around it on tile, flooring and cabinet choices. Several reviews describe repeat business: a 2024 review described hiring him again for a basement right after he finished a deck, and a 2022 review described going from wallpaper removal to painting an entire kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and exercise room over time. Recent reviews from this year describe a half-bath and exterior repaint completed within budget, and a full bathroom renovation reviewers called stunning. Not everything is uniform. A 2020 Angi review described work that skipped proper prep entirely — no tarps, no scraping or sanding — and called it rushed and lower quality. And the company's site says Marcos is personally on-site for every project, but a January 2025 review of a deck-roof job described the opposite: the owner securing the job and leaning on a crew rather than being present, which the reviewer felt showed in the result. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active on the state registry, and it's been Better Business Bureau accredited since October 2025. For a kitchen or bathroom renovation, or interior painting, the reviews point to a hands-on, communicative owner most of the time — worth confirming directly whether Marcos himself will be on-site for a smaller job like a deck or one-off repair.
