A kitchen renovation customer writing in May 2026 said Tad and the Ridgemark crew kept the site clean and stayed on schedule and budget. Ridgemark Home Remodeling describes itself as a family-owned Shrewsbury business serving Central Massachusetts, with Tad Jaillet as its owner and general contractor. The company says it handles kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, additions and custom carpentry, managing permits, subcontractors and inspections from design through completion. A Community Advocate article published in April 2025 described Jaillet as having more than 20 years of experience. It reported that he co-founded H&J Home Solutions in January 2020, then became a sole proprietor and renamed the business Ridgemark Home Remodeling in 2024. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Google lists a five-star average from 49 ratings, and BBB lists an A grade and accredited status. In a February 2026 Google review, a homeowner described two bathroom renovations and a mudroom remodel, including moving the laundry to the master bathroom. The former laundry space became a bench and closet area using materials from the original space. The customer praised the finished rooms, pricing and communication. A July 2025 customer described a kitchen update, master bathroom renovation, living-room addition and new Farmer's porch, saying the team kept them informed about timelines over months of work. A May 2025 kitchen customer described permitting, removal of old cabinets and appliances, floor patching and refinishing, new lighting, an electrical-panel upgrade and installation of cabinets and appliances. The homeowner said Tad responded to questions within a day, often sooner, and workers protected furniture and floors and cleaned up each evening. An October 2025 customer said Ridgemark took over an addition after previous contractors' work had to be demolished from the footings up. The customer credited Tad with explaining the problems, coordinating workers and subcontractors, and promptly addressing the punch list after construction. Earlier work under the H&J name included a deck rebuild. In July 2023, that customer reported delays involving city permits, materials and weather, while praising Tad and Rob for keeping them informed. A February 2026 prospective customer praised Tad's detailed estimate and research during planning for a retirement-home reconstruction, but said financial constraints prevented them from choosing him for the job.
