RG carpentry & painting incorporated

The paint is the last step. In a May 2026 review, a homeowner described RG replacing rotted Hardie siding and house trim, sanding everything down, and only then painting the full exterior. A 2024 customer had a sill plate replaced and shingles added; a 2023 one, with a colonial that had gone at least 20 years without attention, had many cedar shingles swapped out before a coat went on. RG Painting & Carpentry works out of Lynn under Rony, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #211486, is active. The company's site says it was built on more than two decades of painting and carpentry work, and names Swampscott, Marblehead, Beverly and Gloucester as its patch. What customers keep describing is ordinary reliability. A 2024 reviewer said the crew arrived on time every morning and moved everything off the deck carefully before setting up. In a 2023 review, a homeowner said the job finished on time for the exact quote given; another that year, with a historic house, said the colors were matched precisely. A repeat customer writing in May 2026 mentioned quick replies to website quote requests and crews that work Saturdays. Two small things to settle before you call. Angi's profile puts the company at 16 years of experience while its own site claims 20-plus. And the towns it advertises are the coast north of Lynn, so if your house sits further out, ask before planning around them. For exterior work on an older house — where rot repair, shingle replacement and prep decide how the paint holds — this is the crew built for it. Get the quote in writing, and ask what the prep includes: a 2025 customer described caulking, priming and two finish coats.
