In March 2026 an Angi reviewer wrote that Paul Riccio remodeled their basement after a flood, when water mitigation had to be done and the basement was "completely destroyed." The reviewer lived alone and worked, so Paul had access to the home while they were out; they wrote that when they got home the work was done and the work space clean, and that he showed up when he said he would. In an August 2017 Angi review, a customer said Paul was quick to come out with an estimate, then removed and replaced all the rake and fascia boards with Azek and installed new gutters, "neatly and quickly." An October 2016 reviewer who dealt with "the owner Paul" wrote that he gave them options instead of pushing "some deal of the month," custom ordered what they needed, installed it, painted the trim and cleaned up the mess. A June 2015 reviewer credited Kevin with making sure they were happy with the job, and a 2007 reviewer wrote that he was there when he said he would be and cleaned up after the job. Riccio Construction's Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0604231, is active with the state, held by Riccio Construction. On Angi the company describes itself as "Your local Remodeling expert for the last 22+ years" and holds 5.0 stars from 5 ratings; its Google profile shows 1 star from a single rating.
Paul Riccio is, hands down, the most trustworthy and professional contractor I’ve ever worked with. Paul remodeled my basement after a flood and water mitigation had to be done. My basement was completely destroyed. Paul not just restored it, he transformed it. I lived alone and had to work, giving Paul access to my home while I wasn’t present. He was respectful of my home, treating it as his own. When I got home, work was always done and the work space was clean. He showed up when he said he would and worked tirelessly until the job was done. Paul Riccio is a contractor who takes pride in his work and puts great value on his personal and professional reputation. I can do no less than give Mr. Riccio my complete and wholehearted endorsement. He’ll be my go-to guy should I ever need anything done in my home again. Hire Paul Riccio for any home project, large or small. You won’t be disappointed.
Paul was quick to come out and give me an estimate, came and did the job of removing and replacing all the rake and facia boards with azek and installed new gutters. The job was done neatly and quickly. Definitely a professional job and would recommend him.
I dealt with the owner Paul who really understands all homes are not alike. He gave me options and didn't try and push some deal of the month on me. He was able to custom order what I needed and install it professionally. He even painted the trim and cleaned up the mess!
Kevin went out of his way to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. I would definitely recommend them.
Very good. When he said he would here he was here. Totally professional. I have never seen such a work ethics. I am having him work him in my fathers house. He is very good at cleaning up after the job.
