Ridge Electrical Service is a Quincy electrician shop that has built a deep, almost entirely five-star history — 67 reviews since 2023, all but one of them 5★ — around a small, named crew: Jake, John and Anthony show up by name in review after review, for jobs ranging from swapping a light switch to rewiring an entire outdoor sauna. The specifics repeat: same-week scheduling, photos and diagnoses talked through before a truck even rolls, and clean, code-compliant work on both routine calls and bigger jobs. One customer had Jake track down a knob-and-tube connection in an old house and get it deactivated within a day; another had him run over 20 new outlets and upgrade a home's electrical service from 100 to 200 amps for an addition. Beyond emergency-style calls, several reviews describe remodel-adjacent work too — bringing bathroom wiring up to code, running recessed lighting and dimmers through finished basements and bedrooms, and installing an EV charger. The one sour note, an October 2025 review, describes being quoted a job that then went unanswered through four follow-ups over several weeks — annoying enough that the reviewer called a different electrician, though they note it "wasn't the end of the world." It's an outlier against dozens of accounts of prompt communication, reading more like a one-off miss than a pattern. For a South Shore homeowner, Ridge is the kind of shop people call for everything from a fixture swap to a full service upgrade, and several reviewers came back for work at more than one property — just confirm your specific job matches the scale of work they've actually done before booking.
I had an emergency with a Tenant's Stove. He Showed up immediately and fixing the loose Connection. He also worked with my Tenants work schedule and installed her stove after 6pm so she didn't have to take time off of work reliable and Honest Priced Electrician Don't bother calling any other Electrician in Quincy because they don't call you back.
Jake is a punctual, personable and expert electrician. His prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend him for any electrical work you may need. 5 stars!
Great service. Responded quickly and the communication was a breeze. Got our breaker checked the next day. Highly recommended!
Exceptional service from start to finish. The electrician was highly skilled, professional, and extremely detail-oriented. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and completed the work flawlessly. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and the quality of workmanship exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to hire him again and strongly recommend him to anyone in need of electrical services.
