In that September 2025 review they describe being asked to text photos, then having the problem explained and being walked through fixing it safely themselves. Picking up is a running note here — a May 2025 customer said Ridge was the only local company that actually answered the phone during business hours. The shop works out of Quincy. Jake is the name that comes up most across the reviews, with John and Anthony named on plenty of jobs too, and its Google page averages 5 stars across 73 ratings. Quincy's houses are old, and much of this work lands there. A May 2026 customer wrote that the knob and tube connection in their old house could have been anywhere, and the crew was able to find it. In October 2025 another had knob and tube removed outright, along with upgraded light fixtures and recessed lights in the living room. A June 2025 reviewer with an early 1920s bungalow came away saying they had learned some key facts about their own wiring. The bigger jobs are in the mix as well. A November 2025 review describes a home addition with over 20 outlets, all new wiring, and a service upgrade from 100 to 200 amps. A January 2026 customer had bathroom-remodel wiring brought up to code with an overhead light fan; another that same month had a Tesla charger put in; and a May 2024 reviewer had an outdoor sauna wired with a shut-off box, a job they said the location made tricky. Price is the other steady note. A June 2025 customer called the bill a pleasant surprise, and an April 2026 reviewer who has used Ridge twice was fitted in within 48 hours each time with, in their words, no surprises when paying. The sour account is about a quote that never came. In October 2025 a reviewer said an employee came out a few weeks earlier to price a job, then four texts and emails brought promises and nothing else. So if you are collecting bids, pin down a date for the written quote before they leave the driveway. For everyday Quincy wiring — a breaker, a fixture, recessed lights, an EV charger — and for an older house whose circuits nobody has mapped, Ridge is a straightforward call.
