ICOR Electric's written record runs from 2020 to 2025, and the same name runs through nearly all of it: Tady. ICOR Electric, LLC is a Quincy electrician the company says has served Eastern Massachusetts since 2005, staffed by master electricians, and its Massachusetts electrician license is active. In a 2023 review, a homeowner described Tady bringing a 130-year-old house up to code after decades of prior DIY wiring by friends and relatives, calling the result worth the expense. Older reviews from 2020 and 2021 describe similar work: rewiring an 1870s home that had been poorly wired before, installing ceiling fans and light fixtures, swapping in recessed lighting and a chandelier in half a day, and more than once fixing safety issues beyond what was originally asked. One 2022 Angi review is a clear exception: a customer felt misled on pricing after being charged $1,000 for parts she said cost roughly $120 online, though she raised no complaint about the electrical work itself. Angi currently shows a 4.7★ average across 297 ratings, and BBB lists an A+ grade, though the business is not BBB-accredited. Two things are worth asking about directly. That pricing complaint is the one real knock in the written reviews. More significantly, an open-web business filing record lists the company's status as an involuntary dissolution by court order — worth confirming its current corporate standing before signing anything, since nothing else in the reviews or the licensing record explains or resolves that. For code-compliance work and safety-driven rewiring in an older home, the review history points to careful, detail-oriented work — just get pricing in writing up front and ask about the company's current legal status before booking.

So happy I found Tady, will definitely rely on him for future electrical services. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and overall experience!
My house, built in 1884, was in deep need of an electrical upgrade to bring it up to code and allow us to safely use anything requiring electricity. There was hardly anything in the house that hadn’t been done by either a friend or a relative. Tady Came in and gave us a game plan and clear understanding of what needed to be done to bring our house up to code and meet our potentially future electronic needs. It was an expensive investment that was way past due and we are totally pleased with the end results! The job was done with minimal fuss and mess. Tady was able to answer all our inquiries and made adjustments based on our requests (for example, I found an overhead entry light to bright and he replaced it with a dimmer.). We ended up with many more convenient outlets, overhead lights where we never had them before, hardwired smoke and CO2 detectors, Outdoor outlets and the ability to put in car charging access if we ever go that way. Great job. Thanks Tady.
Had Tady out for an electric heat/thermostat issue. He replaced 3 smoke/CO alarms and a thermostat and charged $1,000; after checking prices online she found the parts cost roughly $120 total and felt his hourly labor rate (never clarified upfront) was excessive and that she was misled. No issue with his expertise, but felt his pricing wasn't trustworthy or transparent.
