What customers describe is a job that stays on the rails. A January 2026 Thumbtack client wrote that the crew showed up when they said they would and the kitchen moved along without stress — a few small things came up and were handled quickly. Another, in November 2025, said the site was kept neat and clean. Further back, a July 2024 client singled out Kevin's trustworthiness and attention to detail after he transformed their master bedroom, and a September 2022 Houzz review credited Kevin and Edwin with a punctual kitchen finished without delays. The oldest reviews describe a different trade. Both Angi reviews, from November and December 2020, are about roofing — one homeowner's roof leak fixed, with the work guaranteed for five years — and Angi's about-us blurb talks about roofing too, which sits oddly next to the kitchen-and-bath work on every other page. Ask what they take on themselves today. Two things to raise before signing. Permit records show a $155,000 Belmont job finalled in 2024, and also two small 2021 Somerville applications that were withdrawn; the city's note on one of them says the contractor was not licensed at the time and the owner did not reside at the property. The company's age also depends on where you look — its own site says 20 years in business, BBB dates the corporation to October 2020, Thumbtack lists six years and Angi eight. For a Somerville-area kitchen or bath where you want the owner on site and the schedule held, this is a reasonable call: 92% of those 62 Thumbtack ratings are five stars, though 3% sit at one. Before you sign, ask for both Massachusetts licence numbers BBB has on file — #CS-114980 and #199959 — in writing, and get a straight answer on how long the company has been operating.
