“Riverbend Wood Floor Company salvages wood from old barns and industrial buildings and gives it new life as flooring or millwork. Both businesses played important roles in the building of the house in Redding”
We had such a great experience from beginning to end with Alex of Riverbend Wood Floor Co. He guided us through the whole flooring process, from picking out what would work for us to the delivery and installation. We love our floors! They are great quality and we were able to see them milled. I highly recommend working with Alex.
I have been working with Riverbend Wood Floor for many years, primarily seeking out the most interesting reclaimed wood. The first project we did together has over 50K saves on Houzz and it is an amazing reclaimed wood fireplace. Alex is easy to work with and very accommodating. He has often made next day deliveries and always checks in to make sure we are satisfied with the products. Highly recommend!
Riverbend Wood Flooring Co. products initially catch my eye in a photo on houzz. I reached out to Alex who helped me with my purchase. He was very prompt, professional, and flexible. I am very happy with the beautiful reclaimed wood barn siding he sold to me for our fireplace surround.
Fantastic and trustworthy resource for flooring and custom millwork. I enjoy working with Alex and Riverbend. I hate to share that he's so good and would rather keep him as a secret resource. But he deserve's it. Recommended without reservation.
We bought the wood use through out our house at Riverbend. The wood we bought was new wood, but the character grade wood that Alex recommended for our house remodel has the appeal of a well loved antique. In the downstairs we used a combination of quarter sawn and rift cut wood. I couldn't envision what it would look like so Alex made up samples for me in different widths and finishes so that I could be sure I liked the final product. His recommendation to randomly use the rift and quarter sawn boards was perfect. The wood was delivered quickly and the amount was measured accurately. When I wanted a little more wood for an area I hadn't figured on, Alex had it made up and delivered within a very short time. It was a wonderful experience working with Alex at Riverbend. All the professionals that he recommended were top quality as well.
