Robert J. Scarelli

Robert J. Scarelli is a one-man electrical shop on Pleasant Street in Methuen, and his permit trail is the bread and butter of the trade: 26 permitted jobs — service upgrades, panel replacements, pool wiring and kitchen and bath rough-ins — mostly in Methuen, with one each in Haverhill, Westford and Salisbury. That history leans older: the most recent permit BuildZoom carries is dated 2023. BuildZoom's own score for the business, which it calculates from the permit history rather than from customers, is 94. Before booking, ask about the licence. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts electrician licence, #14473, a Class E journeyman licence, #35066, and a construction supervisor licence, CS-107013, all as its own directory entries — ask which number he works under today and look it up on the state's electrician register. For a panel swap, a service upgrade or rough-in wiring on a Methuen kitchen, bath or pool, this is someone who has pulled that permit many times. Confirm the licence and a certificate of insurance, and get the scope and price in writing before the work starts.
