Robert Schecter Electric is an electrical contractor. It installed a Tesla Wall Connector for one customer, who says they arrived on time, explained everything clearly and completed the installation neatly and professionally. After the top of a tree came down on a Saturday and took down a customer's power wires, that customer says Rob and his son showed up within 30 minutes and stayed until the job was finished, with power back on the same day. One customer has used them for jobs ranging from repairing a switch to under cabinet lighting upgrades and a full home rewire. Lance and Robert provided an estimate for updating another customer's 100 AMP service to 200 AMP. One customer says they have been doing business with the company since the 80's. In a 2026 review, a customer who has used Robert Schecter on 3 separate occasions says one job was an emergency and they came out and took care of the situation quickly. In another 2026 review, a new customer says they came at night to identify the problem and replaced the entire service in a day. In a 2025 review, a customer with water dripping into the electrical panel says Robert Schecter came within 2 hours, assessed the situation and gave a very reasonable quote. That 2025 review says the team arrived the next day and replaced/upgraded the 30 year old system, starting at 7am and ending around 2pm, and made sure everything was cleaned up. In a 2025 review, the writer says Bob and his team installed a small 23 in over hood in a crammed space. Schecter Electric installed a range vent during a kitchen remodel, per a 2025 review. In another 2025 review, the writer says Robert came by shortly after the call, then showed up with his crew at 7am the next morning and completed the complicated job by 2pm. In a 2019 BuildZoom review, the writer says Mr Schecter helped with an emergency installation of a new water heater. That 2019 review says several circuits had to be shifted around to convert from an old small 120 to a new larger 220 on a nearly full main breaker panel, and that he made it all work.

I had the top of a tree come down on a Saturday and take down my power wires. To my surprise national grid told me I needed an electrician. I called Rob and his son and they showed up within 30 minutes on a SATURDAY! They stayed until the job was finished and I had power back on the same day. Thanks again and can’t wait to work with you in the future!
Lance and Robert were very professional during the estimate they provided updating my 100 AMP service to 200 AMP.
