Rogers Insulation Specialists is a Framingham company built around weatherization: air sealing and insulation first, with energy-efficient siding, windows and doors as the second line. It says it has been family owned and operated since 1979, starting out of a basement in a Newton home and now running from a 7,500 square foot Framingham headquarters. Most of what homeowners describe is Mass Save work, and that is the thread through the recent reviews. One customer had rim joists and a basement door sealed and walls insulated in an 1870 condo and says they did not turn the heat on until mid-January. Another had rafter baffles and bath-fan roof vents installed before R49 batts went into a low attic; another had a cellar and crawl space covered in foil-faced foam with weatherstripping added to the exit doors; another had the old attic insulation vacuumed out, the floor air sealed, and new material blown in. A recurring detail is the finish: floors and stairs covered, debris cleaned up, little trace left behind. The record is unusually well documented for a small contractor. Google shows 5 stars across 308 ratings, the review history runs 2021 to 2026 across five sources, BBB has the company accredited since 2004 with an A+ grade, and BuildZoom counts 1,182 permitted projects — 287 in the last three years — with the Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor licence #139124 verified active in July 2026. Reviewers also report Mass Save's own post-work inspectors praising the workmanship, and at least one homeowner switched to Rogers off the contractor Mass Save had assigned after comparing reviews. A few things to pin down. The permit record is dominated by insulation and air sealing at a typical value near $5,788, so if you are hiring for a large siding or window job you are buying the smaller side of their book. BuildZoom also lists two older Newton residential builder registrations — one last verified with a 2022 expiry, one shown cancelled — worth a question even though the main state licence checks out. And because so much runs through Mass Save, ask early what the rebate covers and what falls outside it.

“I had a great experience with Rogers Insulation at the end of last year. They reinsulated the large crawl space under my house and did a great job.”

I forgot to write a review but I felt it was 100% worthy. Thank you to the team at Rogers Insulation having gone through the MassSave on my 1870 condo unit. They came and did two units for FREE as a result of the MassSave program. They did the rim joists in the basement, sealed the basement door. The basement used to be freezing and it would leak through the cracks and the first floor unit was super cold. Now its perfect. They did the insulation in the walls and I can tell you it was an immediate shift...saving me big bucks! This winter I didn't really put the heat on until mid-January. One of the walls there was some cracking of the paint/wall which tends to happen with old homes... but they came quickly and patched it up, painted it at no cost... total class. It looks better now than it was before to be honest. Thanks a lot to Holly and the team. For anyone who has a multi-unit or lives in a multi-unit that is eligible for MassSave... I would definitely recommend without hesitation Rogers. And just want to mention.. everything was spotless.. super clean.. super professional work. Go with ClearResult so that you can be eligible to choose Rogers. Thanks again everyone!

Rogers Insulation Specialists improved ventilation by installing proper rafter baffles for soffit vents and roof vents for bathroom exhaust fans. They then professionally installed new fiberglass batt insulation to R49 thickness in our low height attic. We appreciated their hard work, friendly demeanor, and diligent improvements to our home. We also are grateful for the installation savings they obtained for us through Mass Save.

We had our cellar & crawlspace insulated with a thick foam with aluminum backing. Every nook, cranny and door was covered expertly. Joe then added heavy weatherstripping on all exit doors. We were very pleased with the thoroughness, exactness of the application, and attention to details particular to our home. Well done!

Rogers Insulation is the contractor you want to use for your home improvement work. John and his team are very knowledgable in the trade and on top of that they are friendly and courteous. We recently had our attic refreshed - they vacuumed all the old insulation out, air sealed the floor and blew in new insulation, along with other misc items like new baffles and venting bathroom fans. From the initial consultation with John to the completion of the 3 day job, Rogers Insulation was easy to work with.

Great experience, quick scheduling of quote and scheduled just a few weeks later. The crew arrived on time and did the work as contracted, were in and out in 1 day. Nice neat job, cleaned up after themselves. All this with a snowstorm happening at the same time. Would recommend.
