Rogers Insulation Specialists works out of Framingham and has built its reputation almost entirely around Massachusetts's Mass Save energy-efficiency program — audit-driven attic, wall, crawl space and basement insulation jobs that keep coming up review after review. The company has held BBB accreditation since 2004, giving it more than two decades of a documented public record, and currently carries an A+ grade. On Google it's rated 5★ across 308 ratings. The volume backs that up: 176 reviews on file from 2021 through 2026, and the last six months alone added 14 more with zero negative among them. The jobs described are technical and varied — dense-pack cellulose blown into exterior walls, rigid foam with aluminum backing in cellars and crawl spaces, fiberglass batt brought up to R49 in low-clearance attics, new rafter baffles for soffit and bathroom-exhaust venting, and weatherstripping on exterior doors. A recurring thread across reviews is a small, consistent cast of names — Rick, Holly, Carol, Larry, Diego, Nick, Logan, Will — the kind of staff continuity that shows up when a crew has worked together for years. In one case a homeowner's ductwork had already been reworked twice by others with no real improvement; Rogers checked the trunk-line insulation and continued with corrective work rather than a shrug. Reviews here skew heavily toward customers who came through the Mass Save audit pipeline, so most of what's documented is subsidized weatherization work rather than paid-out-of-pocket jobs — worth asking how pricing works if your project falls outside that program. A 2025 Reddit thread also points to fiberglass entry-door and glass/screen replacement work, so their scope goes beyond insulation for at least some customers, though that's thinner evidence than the insulation work itself. For anyone going through a Mass Save audit and choosing among assigned contractors, Rogers is the name that keeps surfacing in reviews and on Reddit as the one to request specifically. Confirm upfront whether your project qualifies for the program's subsidy or would be billed directly.
“We just worked with Rogers Insulation (free through MassSave!) and they were great!”
“Try Rogers Insulation in Framingham. I got a fiberglass door and it is so much better than the wooden door. They will do whatever you want for glass, screens, etc.”
“Rogers Insulation. No complaints!”
“I had a great experience with Rogers Insulation at the end of last year. They reinsulated the large crawl space under my house and did a great job.”
“Rick Taglienti, owner of Framingham-based Rogers Insulation, said he does not believe there is an oversight problem with the program.”
I forgot to write a review but I felt it was 100% worthy. Thank you to the team at Rogers Insulation having gone through the MassSave on my 1870 condo unit. They came and did two units for FREE as a result of the MassSave program. They did the rim joists in the basement, sealed the basement door. The basement used to be freezing and it would leak through the cracks and the first floor unit was super cold. Now its perfect. They did the insulation in the walls and I can tell you it was an immediate shift...saving me big bucks! This winter I didn't really put the heat on until mid-January. One of the walls there was some cracking of the paint/wall which tends to happen with old homes... but they came quickly and patched it up, painted it at no cost... total class. It looks better now than it was before to be honest. Thanks a lot to Holly and the team. For anyone who has a multi-unit or lives in a multi-unit that is eligible for MassSave... I would definitely recommend without hesitation Rogers. And just want to mention.. everything was spotless.. super clean.. super professional work. Go with ClearResult so that you can be eligible to choose Rogers. Thanks again everyone!
Rogers Insulation Specialists improved ventilation by installing proper rafter baffles for soffit vents and roof vents for bathroom exhaust fans. They then professionally installed new fiberglass batt insulation to R49 thickness in our low height attic. We appreciated their hard work, friendly demeanor, and diligent improvements to our home. We also are grateful for the installation savings they obtained for us through Mass Save.
We had our cellar & crawlspace insulated with a thick foam with aluminum backing. Every nook, cranny and door was covered expertly. Joe then added heavy weatherstripping on all exit doors. We were very pleased with the thoroughness, exactness of the application, and attention to details particular to our home. Well done!
Rogers Insulation is the contractor you want to use for your home improvement work. John and his team are very knowledgable in the trade and on top of that they are friendly and courteous. We recently had our attic refreshed - they vacuumed all the old insulation out, air sealed the floor and blew in new insulation, along with other misc items like new baffles and venting bathroom fans. From the initial consultation with John to the completion of the 3 day job, Rogers Insulation was easy to work with.
Great experience, quick scheduling of quote and scheduled just a few weeks later. The crew arrived on time and did the work as contracted, were in and out in 1 day. Nice neat job, cleaned up after themselves. All this with a snowstorm happening at the same time. Would recommend.
