We had Ronan Residential bid on an attached garage addition to our 1940 home. While we had 3-4 companies bid within close enough range of cost, we chose Ronan for the personal attention they gave me and my husband. Liam and Justin answered all of our questions with detail and care. They understood how much we wanted to have the addition blend seamlessly to our charming, old home and created ways to do so such as custom-fabricating exterior corbels, sourcing doors and door knobs to match the original house, etc. Their entire team of subs were professional, trustworthy, and honestly a delight to be around on-site. We are now a year since our move-in date and we are so happy with the build quality. I often say "I miss seeing Justin/Liam/Brian/etc." every week. Justin doesn't just make really well-made homes - he also is a great project manager, problem solver, and guide for the entire build/renovation/addition journey. You're in really great hands with Ronan.

Everything about our experience with Ronan Residential was positive. We had a tight budget and a tight schedule and they were able to deliver on budget and ahead of schedule. The neighbors commented that there was always someone working on the house, even on weekends. Everyone who visits comments on the outstanding craftsmanship. My husband and I just finished a new build with them a few months ago and I cannot say enough good things about Justin, the owner, and every other person involved with his company. We chose Ronan Residential (Justin & Liam) to complete the construction of our home's addition since we have long admired their work from completed homes on the South Shore. If you aren't familiar with their work, there are several high-end homes scattered throughout Cohasset and the Scituate cliffs. We live in Cohasset and after many months of pursing a building permit, we were ready to begin our addition in Nov. of 2021 and evaluated several Contractors for the job. Our project was rather complex, with having to bring in helical piles and anchor them to the foundation, as well as connect the new addition to the existing 100-year-old home, yet Justin tackled all the nuances with a “whatever it takes” attitude and got the job done. What really stood out was Justin’s patience during the project (we had several modifications along the way) and his consistent communication. In such a complex project and supply chain disruptions during our construction (right around COVID), many things were bound to get held up, but Justin and Liam always kept us up to date on exactly where we stood with our progress. Although any construction project is bound to be highly stressful for the homeowner, this team made what could have been an overwhelming project ripe with delays, a less stressful and sometimes enjoyable process. Another thing to note is that the trades Ronan uses for their work are some of the highest quality contractors on the South Shore. The framing crew (Jerrys Construction), Electricians (Collum Electric), and Brian their Superintendent were the most enjoyable crews to be around and all performed exceptional work.
