Rose Plumbing and Heating

Rose Plumbing and Heating is a small, owner-led plumbing and heating outfit built around Dave Rose, who reviewers name directly for after-hours emergency calls and same-day fixes. The strongest thread running through the reviews is availability when something breaks badly: a 2022 review described Dave stopping a leaking oil line at 9:15pm on a Thursday, another described him coming the next morning to diagnose and replace a 14-year-old water heater, and a 2021 review said he was the only one of 15 local plumbers who called back and then showed up on time the next day. More recent reviews describe working with additional staff, Remy and Simmy, alongside Dave — a sign the operation has grown beyond a one-person shop. Two reviews tell a different story: a 2024 review described repeated no-shows despite promises to visit, calling the service unreliable, and a 2023 review said a promised callback about a plumbing problem never came. Both predate the most recent positive reviews, which describe Dave as accessible and fairly priced for both small jobs and larger emergencies. Rose Plumbing is a reasonable call for an emergency leak or a failed water heater, with the caveat that reliability has been inconsistent enough in the past — a couple of documented no-shows — that it's worth confirming a firm appointment window rather than assuming a callback.
