Round Of Applause Mover's LLC

Round of Applause Mover's LLC is a Boston-based outfit built around small residential moves — Fred and Joseph handle the truck together, moving an apartment upstairs, a mother into assisted living, a hot tub set exactly where a homeowner wanted it. Reviewers describe calling Joseph directly and getting a callback and a price within minutes, then a truck the next day or the following week. Reviews stretch from 2021 through this spring, 20 on Google averaging 4.8★, and the specifics repeat: crews arriving 30 minutes early, a side-by-side duplex loaded and unloaded in two and a half hours, a bulky item carried up a tight stairwell around several corners. A 2023 review described a Sunday move up three flights of stairs, priced fairly and with the phone answered throughout. A 2022 review had them moving a homeowner's mother into an assisted living facility with care. Not every account is positive. A review this spring said the movers were friendly but that some items were broken during the job. In a 2024 review, a customer reported the crew scratched a landlord's mahogany floors badly enough to cost a $2,000 security deposit, and recommended a different company instead. And in a 2021 review — outside the period the written record weighs most heavily — a customer described a last-minute attempt to add nearly $200 to an already-agreed price the morning of the move. For a small local move — an apartment, a single large item, a stairwell job — this is a business reviewers keep calling back for; just confirm the price stays firm and ask how breakable items get wrapped before booking.
