Four October 2026 Google reviews describe septic service. In one, a customer said technician Charles Sullivan explained how often the tank should be serviced and kept the truck on the driveway pavement instead of the soft dirt near the house. Another October 2026 customer said Ian the driver was right on time and explained what they should and shouldn't do with the system, and a customer new to septic service wrote that Dan explained how it works. A July 2026 reviewer called the office on a Sunday, got a call back the same day, and received the septic inspection report within 2 hours of the work being finished, which mattered for a new home purchase inspection on a tight window. Plumbing repairs get the same kind of praise. In June 2026 a crew cleared a clog in a main line, jetted it and ran a camera through it. A January 2026 customer was scheduled the same week for a leak, and plumber Joe Tremblay fixed the issues quickly. In a November 2025 review, a homeowner whose boiler mixing valve failed said their local plumber couldn't come for a month, while Rowell's came the same day and had hot water back within 2 hours. An October 2025 reviewer described technicians in uniform who used shoe and floor coverings and vacuumed the work area. On Reddit, a 2025 poster recommended the company as "big enough to have people available in emergencies and small enough to still care." There are complaints. In an April 2026 one-star Google review, a customer said the worker replaced parts that didn't need replacing and did not fix the problem. A May 2026 Reddit post cited a $4,200 quote and "$100 to come out and do nothing," and a 2024 Reddit poster claimed the company deliberately "fails" systems to sell a $30k new install. A November 2025 four-star review praised the drivers but said a rescheduled septic appointment went ahead without the promised call or text, and that dispatch communication needs improvement.
