Royal Contracting

Royal Contracting is a Dedham general contractor, and in a 2025 review a customer said their new 2-story exterior set of stairs was done timely and well for a reasonable price. HomeAdvisor lists Dermot McElligott as the owner. A 2025 customer said the company did interior house painting and wall plastering, hung doors, mirrors and drapery rails, and worked extra hours to finish before guests arrived. A 2024 customer said the job was done on time and the worker answered all their questions. In a 2013 review, a customer said Dermot and his crew built a portico for a ranch house and worked until almost 7pm on a Friday to finish the roof before rain the next day. That 2013 customer said Dermot made a time-consuming change caused by the customer's own oversight without raising the price. In a 2010 review, a customer said the company did a complete renovation of their kitchen and installed a new entry and a new side door. In a 2011 two-star review, a customer said that a little more than six months after a kitchen and bath remodel in an older building, they "called in another plumber to repair a leak in the installation of the kitchen faucet," the pull-out wastebasket drawer needed to be reinstalled, and the overflow drain in the bathtub leaked.
