Royalty Pool Service LLC is a pool service company whose website lists pool cleaning, seasonal pool openings and closings, pool repair, pump and filter replacements, liner replacements and salt generator installations, and it names North Smithfield, Smithfield, Johnston, Cranston, Lincoln, Providence, Chepachet and North Providence as its service area. A customer said they always use Royalty Pool Service for the pool opening in May and closing in mid September, and that they explain everything very clearly. A customer who had just bought a house said they responded right away during their busy season, and that Tony was informative. A customer with a pool for the first time said the company communicated everything from pool openings to future services and that everything was done on time. A customer who hired the company for a pool opening said they had been told on the phone that the leaves would be removed and the stairs installed, but was later told leaf removal was not included and would require an additional charge, and the stairs were not installed. The customer also said an invoice requested on the day of service never came, a Friday request for an arrival time got no response, and a same-day visit after 6:30 PM was offered only after a partial refund was requested. The same customer said some work was completed, including removing the cover and beginning the opening process.
These guys are very professional and they explain everything very clearly. We always use Royalty Pool Service for the pool opening in May and closing in mid September They never disappoint!
I just bought a house and needed the pool to be serviced. They responded to me right away (during their busy season)! Tony was amazing and informative; I'm extremely happy and will be working with them going forward!
Royalty Pool Service has been great, as first time home owners with a pool they were attentive and communicated everything from pool openings to future services. Everything was done on time and work was completed the right way. We will continue to use Royalty Pool Service for all of our pool needs from, opening to closings and everything in between.
I hired this company for a pool opening based on a phone conversation in which I was told the cover and leaves would be removed, the hoses and equipment would be connected and checked, chemicals would be added, and the stairs would be installed. When the crew arrived, they indicated the water level was too low to fully test the equipment. My concern was that the appointment should have been rescheduled if the water level prevented the work from being completed. I was later told that leaf removal was not included and would require an additional charge, despite my understanding during the initial call that the leaves would be removed. The stairs were also not installed, although I was told someone would return once the water cleared. I was advised that an outlet was not working, which led me to arrange for an electrician, only to learn that the outlet was not the issue. The grounding wires were also not connected. I requested an invoice or receipt on the day service was performed but did not receive one. After speaking with the office, I was told they would return later in the week. I had to reschedule from Monday and was told someone would be out that week. I did not hear anything further until Thursday afternoon when I was told they would come on Friday. On Friday, I reached out around 4:00 PM to ask for an arrival time and received no response. It was not until after I formally requested a partial refund that I was offered a same-day visit after 6:30 PM. Some work was completed, including removing the cover and beginning the opening process, but the overall experience was frustrating due to the incomplete work, conflicting information, lack of communication, and failure to provide requested documentation. They did not perform services as described. I have requested a partial refund and hope the matter can be resolved professionally. I do not feel it is respectful of someone’s time to have them wait all day.
