We hired S&H Construction of Belmont MA to remodel our kitchen, they did a superb job all the way: carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, plastering, painting, and backsplash according to a schedule they planned. They did it right on schedule.Tracey Litt supervised it with friendliness and professionalism, We would happily bring this company back for any work in the future. We have been S+H customers since 2013 when we bought our 'needs everything' 2-family. We worked with S + H Construction on two separate occasions, and I can say without hesitation that they’ve earned our complete and total trust and satisfaction. In 2023 they tackled a large deck and retaining wall for us – a significant project that they executed beautifully. The craftsmanship was outstanding and the results have held up perfectly. Fast-forward to this year, they came back to help us prepare a home for sale with a number of smaller projects and, once again, delivered exactly what we needed right when we needed it. What sets S + H apart is their project management. Our project manager was exceptional – organized, communicative, and clearly on top of every detail. Just as impressive were the subcontractors they brought in– highly skilled trades people who took real pride in their work. Assembling that caliber of team on your own would take ages and, honestly, I’m not sure I could’ve done it. Yes, management fees reflect the premium service they provide. But when you weigh that against the time saved, the stress avoided, and the quality of the finished product, it is absolutely worth every penny. You’re not just paying for labor, you’re paying for expertise, coordination, and peace of mind. My husband, an architect, and I have nothing but superlatives to describe the work S+H did remodeling our Lexington home in 2024-25. Everyone we encountered--in the office, on the job, and subcontractors--were skilled professionals. We are completely happy with the remodel and will turn to S+H again when we tackle the last piece, our kitchen.
