Houzz puts this firm's typical job at $300,000 to $10 million. That number does most of the explaining: Sacha Jacq Interiors is a Lexington studio that designs high-end residential renovations and then manages the construction of them, rather than swinging the hammers itself. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Beyond that, the credentials are the design-world kind — membership of the American Society of Interior Designers, International Design Awards honorable mentions in 2021, 2024 and 2025, Best of Houzz badges across five years, and a Chrysalis regional award for an interior remodel over $300,000. Boston Magazine profiled Sacha Jacq's own Lexington deck house in January 2026, and Boston.com quoted her as a Lexington-based construction manager and interior designer in late 2025. What clients describe is a designer who takes over the running of the job. A homeowner in March 2026 downsizing from a suburban house to a Boston apartment described an entry foyer turned into custom cabinetry hiding coats, shoes, tools, the dog's gear, a gift-wrap station and the AV rack — and a shower enclosure opened up by swapping tile for glass. In a December 2020 review a couple tracking a kitchen renovation from out of town credited her with being on site to make decisions and untangle problems with their contractor. A March 2018 client whose builder couldn't supply a project manager simply handed her the role for a gut renovation of a 1930s house. The same words recur across a decade: organized, on budget, present. Two caveats worth weighing. The written record is thinner and older than the awards suggest — 11 reviews stretching back to 2015, eight of them from 2021 or earlier, and only one in the past six months. And several of those reviews are not homeowners at all: a contractor, a millwork shop and a construction company all wrote in as trade partners praising a firm they collaborate with. That is a genuine signal about how the trades find her to work with, but it is not the same as a client's account of hiring her. For a large, design-led renovation where you want one person holding the schedule, the budget and the trades together, this is a credentialed and well-documented option. Ask what construction management costs on top of design, and where the project sits against that $300,000 floor.

We moved from a large suburban home to a much smaller apartment in Boston and hired Sacha to help us plan and design the space, as well as curate new furniture for every room. Transitioning to a more compact living environment requires a completely different way of thinking about how space is used. Sacha proved invaluable in creating interiors that are not only beautiful but exceptionally functional. She transformed what had been a large entry foyer into stunning, minimalist custom cabinetry that seamlessly conceals our coat and shoe storage, hand tools, dog gear, gift wrap station, seasonal bulk storage, and even our audio-visual rack. Sacha has impeccable taste and an extraordinary attention to detail, often suggesting subtle changes that make a significant impact. For example, she recommended incorporating additional glass into a new shower enclosure that initially felt small. By using glass instead of tile, she dramatically opened up the space both visually and practically. Beyond guiding the construction and millwork, Sacha also helped us source all new furniture. Her assistant, Sofia, thoughtfully created multiple floor plan options and patiently revised them based on our feedback, even as input from different family members evolved. The final selections struck a careful balance between aesthetics, quality, and cost, prioritizing investment in areas with the greatest impact. Sacha is warm, approachable, and refreshingly direct. I would highly recommend her for any planning and design project.
I absolutely loved working with Sacha. She is straight forward, honest, opinionated but not pushy, with exceptional taste and incredible follow through. We did a gut renovation of our home in Cambridge. I worked with an architect for the initial design and then with Sacha for everything else. She stepped in seamlessly. She worked closely with our contractor to monitor progress and ensure quality work. My bandwidth at the time was limited so I was thrilled when she would joyously step in to select furnishings, fixtures, lighting, door handles, every detail considered, while always giving me the final choice of two or three. Exactly what I could handle. I remember well the day she showed me her first renderings of my furnished living room - I cried because it was so beautiful and so perfect. I truly could not believe I was going to have that beautiful space to live in. And now, every day when I walk in my living room, I think the same thing - I am so lucky. I cannot recommend Sacha enough. You will be lucky to work with her, and then, you will look forward to your next project with her. Working with Sacha is fun, exciting, low stress and very, very satisfying.
In my profession, I collaborate with many designers and builders, so when it came time to renovate my own home, I knew exactly who I wanted to entrust with the project. Sacha Jacq transformed my ideas into reality, delivering a design that far exceeded my expectations. She curated a team of highly skilled professionals whose craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. Throughout the renovation, Sacha remained deeply involved, proactively overseeing progress to ensure every aspect was completed on schedule and to the highest standard. The entire experience was seamless, and the final result is truly outstanding. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
As a contractor, I found Sacha ideal to work with. Her designs were clear and well-thought out; she met all her deadlines; she was always responsive to communications and answered questions quickly and thoroughly. But most of all, she was the consummate team player, working with us at every turn to communicate effectively with our client and deliver a product about which everyone felt happy. I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again.
Sacha was a priceless member of my renovation team - her designs were beautiful, her attention to detail was extraordinary, and her collaborative approach made work with our whole group positive and productive. The project involved a lot of quirky spaces, and required creative solutions in many different areas. Sacha’s expertise constantly steered us to beautiful solutions, and her attention to common-sense cost effectiveness was a big help as well. The finished product is just gorgeous - clean-looking and sophisticated, yet still warm and welcoming. I’ve been living in the new place for a couple of months now, and every day there is a new thoughtful design detail that I appreciate!
