Verified record
SANMARTIN ELECTRIC does residential electrical work out of Revere, MA, listed on BuildZoom under its owner/electrician of record, John G Sanmartin. There isn't much of a written record yet β just one review on file. That single account, from February 2024, is a serious one: a customer paid $2,500 for a basement electrical job, watched him complete only the portion the town had approved, then says he rescheduled and no-showed on the rest of the work for about two months without ever explaining why. BuildZoom also lists a 'Verified License' credited to a Vermont licensing board β an odd pairing for a Massachusetts address, and not something to read as confirmation of an active Massachusetts electrical license. With only one written account on file, and that one describing a job left unfinished for months, this is one to press on before hiring: get a firm, in-writing completion timeline and confirm the Massachusetts license directly with the state before paying anything upfront.
San Martin agreed to take on a job. He did part of the project that was approved by the town, but has promised over and over again for many weeks to complete the job and has not delivered for months. I have taken time off work many times to be here for the dated San Martin promised he would come and complete this job. Every week for the past 2 months, he has scheduled and no showed me and he never informs me that he wont make the job.
