The firm has been BBB-accredited since 1985, holds an A+ grade, and won that BBB's 2005 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
What they get hired for shows up in both the permit record and the reviews: additions, basement conversions, kitchens and bathrooms, and window, siding and roof replacement. Public permit data lists 153 permitted projects across Sterling, Holden, Boylston, Westborough and Worcester, typically valued near $70,000. Reviewers writing in 2024 and 2025 describe an addition where the firm handled design through finishing touches and permits, a basement converted for a daughter and grandchildren that came in on budget, and a window replacement done by "good communicators, kind and patient".
The recurring theme in those accounts is that the process stayed calm. A 2025 reviewer who said they had dealt with dozens of contractors over the years called this the best of them, citing the consultation, the professionalism and a perfect clean-up. Two things to settle before signing. The Construction Supervisor licence is unclear — the company's site publishes CS-068457 while BuildZoom's sample of state records shows CS-012736 as inactive, and neither has been checked against the Department of Public Safety here, so ask to see the current card alongside the HIC registration. And the review record, while uniformly strong, is shallow and has not been added to for over a year, so ask for references from jobs finished since.
