Nearly a hundred and forty reviews, almost all five stars, and one name is on nearly every one of them: Sean Conroy. SC Electric Corp. is a Weymouth electrician Sean runs himself, and its Massachusetts electrician license is active. The jobs described here range from routine to genuinely dramatic. Recent reviews describe a 200-amp service upgrade completed over several days, an EV charger run out to a detached garage, and same-day fixes for a tripped AFCI breaker and burst-pipe electrical damage. Further back, a 2024 review described Sean arriving at 7:30 in the morning after a power outage knocked out electricity to a 50-unit condo building — mostly elderly residents — and staying until 11:30 that night to get everyone back on; a 2025 review described a car taking out a utility pole and ripping the wires off a house, with Sean called back to help. Beyond the big jobs, the record includes an oddly specific range of smaller work — wiring for a hot tub, powering an indoor sauna, connecting a wall-mounted TV, swapping out a pool light — each handled with the same on-time, clean-up-after attention. Customers keep coming back for more: several mention using him two, three, or four times, and repeatedly point to the same things — he answers calls on weekends, explains the work as he goes, and prices fairly against other quotes. The one exception in the record is a 2024 review describing a large job that went badly: poor communication, work left unfinished, and another electrician brought in to complete it. It stands out for being the only account like it among well over a hundred reviews — still, it's worth pinning down the scope and communication plan in writing before committing to anything large. For panel upgrades, EV chargers, generator hookups, or an after-hours emergency, this is a well-established, heavily reviewed option — just get the scope and schedule in writing for anything bigger than a quick fix.
Hes our local go too. Him and his guys are top notch. Attention to detail is 2nd to none. We have a ton of electricians we use owning an hvac company. Sean's price points and work are amazing
SC Electric Corp is great! I asked them to do the electric work for my central A/C installation and the work is great. Sean is very nice and his quote is very reasonable and competitive. I will ask them to do electric work in the future.
This experience was stupendous. We called in the morning with a serious alarm problem. Sean Conroy called quickly, talked to WFD inspector, and by early afternoon had the correct smoke alarms installed. Very professional and helped us get out of a time crunch in the closing date of our house sale. I don't think we have ever had this kind of service.
Sean Conroy and his team from SC Electric corp did a service upgrade to 200-A at my house over a few days. I couldn’t be happier. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, and did it all for a fair price. I highly recommend using SC Electric for all your electrical needs.
Back in October, we had an emergency electrical repair that Sean took care of (and then helped us navigate the months of mess that came afterwards with the city and Eversource). I would highly recommend working with Sean, he is an expert and provides good service at a fair price. If you're looking for an electrician, he's a great option for you.
