I highly recommend Scantic Valley Excavating for septic installation. From start to finish, Bryan was professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and incredibly easy to work with. Having a new septic system installed can be a stressful and overwhelming project, but they made the entire process go smoothly and took the time to explain what was happening along the way. The quality of their work was excellent. They were efficient, organized, respectful of the property, and clearly take a lot of pride in doing the job correctly. Communication was great throughout the project, and everything was handled professionally from beginning to end. It’s becoming harder to find contractors who combine excellent workmanship with reliability, honesty, and great customer service, but Scantic Valley Excavating absolutely delivered. Brian came to our rescue when our septic failed during the selling of our house. He got on it right away, bringing Dave, the engineer on board. Within a few days all the paperwork to start was completed and approved with the town. On a Monday, Dave did the perc test and on Tuesday, Brian was able to start. He is very meticulous with the process and was very conscientious of our property, our neighbors property which we had to utilize to gain access to our backyard and always keeping us up to date on the timeline. By Thursday afternoon of that same week, Brian was able to get everything inspected and signed off with the town and had the Certificate that it passed sent to us. From what was a very stressful problem for us, Brian made it seem so easy to rectify. I would highly recommend Brian if this situation arises or for any excavating work you might need.

Great work done on time and as promised, SV excavating came recommended by my normal pump out guy (JMB septic, also solid work!) due to a rapidly degrading septic drainage, Brian and co. came to the rescue, provided a quote same day, and scheduled ASAP. The planning, details, timing and updates were all communicated regularly and professionally. They handled everything and knocked out a hell of a project in just a couple of days. Septic replacement is not something you want to oversee yourself and experience is worth its weight. The scope of the project expanded a little due to site utilities and additional grading, but SC was quick to adjust and save the budget. I was very happy with the finished work and would not hesitate to have them back should the need ever arise, highly recommend!
