After the blizzard of 2026 left one Cape house without power for two and a half days and killed the boiler, the temperature inside had dropped to 38 degrees. Seaside sent Casey out straight away and had everything working within two hours. Someone picks up, and someone comes — that is what these customers keep describing. The picking-up is literal. A June 2026 customer points out that Cassie, the operations manager, answers the phone rather than an automated attendant. In November 2025 a homeowner with one heating zone down says Damian arrived within an hour of the call and had it diagnosed and fixed half an hour later. A June 2026 call over a holiday weekend was assessed and sorted within a couple of hours. Seaside works out of South Yarmouth as an HVAC, plumbing and gas contractor for Cape Cod homes and light commercial customers — heating, cooling, heat pumps, water heaters, gas lines and generators. It says it has been at this for 30 years and is a Mass Save partner; a May 2026 customer had a mini split installed with some plumbing repair and credits the team with getting the Mass Save paperwork done. The work goes well past emergency calls. A March 2026 customer had a boiler replaced in Chatham and says the piping included things other plumbers had told them could not be done. A February 2026 customer had a hot water heater and a chimney liner brought up to code at what they called a more than reasonable price. In September 2023 someone had a mini split replaced, outdoor shower plumbing run and gas delivered to a stove; in July 2024, another had an outdoor shower, kitchen faucet and shower head replaced by Brian, Tim and Matt. Generators recur — a standby unit quoted in March 2026, and an April 2026 estimate where the representative walked the landscape and the gas lines first. The maintenance agreements are worth asking about. Two Yarmouth Port neighbors on Nextdoor describe contracts covering a water heater and boiler, one noting it brings annual maintenance and priority scheduling during emergencies, and Centerville neighbors recommended the company twice in one December 2025 thread. The complaint on file is about the clock: in October 2024 a customer with an 8-to-12 appointment window called twice, was told they were next and would get a call, never got one, and saw the technician at 12:30 with no explanation. For heating, cooling and gas work between Yarmouth and Hyannis — especially if what you want is someone who picks up when the heat quits in February — this is a strong call. Ask what the maintenance agreement covers and where it puts you in the queue during a storm.

Great first meeting and after meeting with a few other vendors, Kevin was finally an old school professional and his customer service skills were outstanding. He offered great suggestions for a system that would best meet my needs and I look forward to receiving his suggested plan and quote. As a retired baby boomer price is obviously important but in a world now where great customer service has almost pretty much disappeared, liking the people you would be spending your money on and working with is equally if not more important.
