Seaver Construction

We have been dealing with ongoing issues from Seaver Construction for several months while they build a house across from our home, and the experience has been extremely frustrating for our family and neighbors. The construction site has repeatedly been poorly managed. Workers regularly left trash throughout the street, and nails were left on the road multiple times, causing flat tires for us and other neighbors. We and others had to replace tires because of this negligence. The noise and disruption have also been excessive and inconsiderate. On several occasions, they scheduled dumpster/container swaps on weekend mornings around 7:00 AM. The backup alarms and truck noise woke our entire family, including our young children, and caused our dog to bark nonstop. Weekend mornings became stressful instead of peaceful. What made this worse is that after the first incident, I called to complain and asked them not to schedule these loud operations so early on weekends. My concerns were ignored, and the same thing continued happening. During the winter, construction trucks also dumped a large amount of snow across our driveway, blocking access to our garage. No one came to clean it up, and it delayed our entire day. I understand construction causes inconvenience, but this went far beyond normal disruption. The company showed very little consideration for the surrounding neighborhood and seemed to lack proper supervision and site management throughout the project.

Their construction project at 93 Hathaway Circle in Arlington left trash and debris strewn across the neighborhood, on neighbors' lawns and driveways, through out the entirety of their months-long build. Called several times, and no one addressed the concern. Can't trust them to pick up their trash, but you can trust them to build your house? Edit: The company's response below is untrue. I picked up the trash myself from my lawn, my neighbors lawns, and the surrounding area, and then left it on the project's doorstep as a souvenir--several times. Dana Tower - you sent someone to investigate the day after I left this publicly available negative review--weeks after my initial calls--which tells me it had its intended effect. Either you are presenting false information in an attempt to save face, or your investigation skills need improvement--much like your project management. I have the relevant call logs and outdoor camera footage that you may add to your very thorough investigation. I will not be calling you to discuss this further :)

I would highly recommend Seaver Constructions for whatever your next project may be. They are very professional and reliable!

Some of the most shoddy work I've ever seen. I've had all different types of tradesmen and handymen come in to repair the work, and each one asks who did it originally, and says it wasn't done right the first time. He also refused to make it right, then called me up to chew me out for reporting him to the B.B.B. I've heard from several other clients of his the same thing. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT use Seavsr.
