Sequoia completed a full house renovation for us in 2023. The project exceeded our expectations. The team at Sequoia communicated well, executed the work with high standards, and stayed on schedule. Because Patrick is experience and detailed, we didn't run into one surprise during or after construction. I highly recommend his team if you are considering a project.

I am an architect who has worked with Patrick on a residential project that included a total interior remodel and large addition. I found him to be very professional, able to manage his subcontractors and whose own carpenters provide the highest quality of workmanship.

We have been extremely pleased with Patrick and Sequoia Custom Builders. Their work is beautiful and without fault. Everyone who works for Patrick is a person you are very happy to have working in your home, which is not often the case. They are kind, respectful, pleasant and extremely responsible. Work is completed on time. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

Patrick fought constantly with our architect. We had multiple issues with the subcontractors. The electrician wouldn't follow the electrical plans made by the architect. A second heating/cooling company had to fix what the first company did. Painting had to be done multiple times. Once we were close to being finished, Patrick disappeared and only completed the project when he received a letter from our lawyer. It took us over a year to get Patrick to look at a parapet wall that was full of cracks and needed to be fixed. He said he would get a quote for an aluminum cap and fix the wall. That was six months ago - no response to multiple phone calls and emails. He claims integrity on his website. I would disagree.

Two years later and we still love the high quality work of Patrick and his crew. The project was a down to the studs, tear down a wall kitchen renovation that brought together the once separate kitchen and dining rooms in a typical NE colonial home. Patrick worked well with our kitchen designer. They even began collaborating on subsequent jobs! Patrick provided very clear information throughout the project from cost estimating, design detail troubleshooting, and stain selecting colors. The Sequoia Custom Builder crews were courteous, professional, and highly skilled. We lived in the house and ate in the living room temporary kitchen throughout. I would rehire Sequoia Custom Builders again without reservation.
