South Coast Decks' website lists a service area that includes Mansfield, Foxboro, Norton, Attleboro, Easton, Rehoboth and Taunton, and it states free estimates. A 2026 review says Joe and Pat were both highly knowledgeable from the very beginning. Per a 2026 review, South Coast Decks was hired for a deck project repairing front and rear decks, replacing decking, railings, trim work and stairs. That 2026 review says Pat and Joe not only contract the work but also do the work, and that the work area was always cleaned up after every workday. In a 2025 review, Pat, Joe and their team worked on an expanded deck with a new stair configuration, completing several designs, and that 2025 review says their estimate was right in line with the actual cost. In an update to that 2025 review, they reached out to finish some minor sealing that couldn't be completed in the winter and, after inspecting the deck, decided to add additional bracing, completing the additional work in a day. In a 2025 review, they found out that an old deck had never been properly permitted and that getting the paperwork done would nearly double the price; that 2025 review says they then said they would be more than happy with a smaller job of dismantling the deck and building new steps down to a patio. A 2025 review says they put up a full sized tent to continue working through heavy spring rain. Per a 2025 review of a deck and side entry reconstruction project, it was their communication style, responsiveness and "knowledge of working with Timber Tech materials that sold us on using them." That 2025 review says the permit was in place months prior to the anticipated start date and that a status update with photos was sent by text at the end of every day. In a 2024 review, Pat and Joey built a shed underneath a deck and made sure the grounds were covered with stone. A 1-star 2025 review says they came on time for an appointment, but several SMS messages trying to get an estimate got no response, and after waiting 2 or 3 weeks the reviewer gave up.

Joe and Pat were both highly knowledgeable from the very beginning. I'd have no issue hiring them again for future projects.
Amazing work. Joeys the man
I have no regrets hiring South Coast Decks LLC to work on my deck project. I needed to have my front and rear decks repaired, replacing decking, railings, trim work and stairs. From writing up my contract to doing the work, Pat and Joe were very professional and accommodating to my requirements of deck improvements. They not only contract the work but also do the work so the job gets done right. Pat keeps you updated on their work progress and schedules. The work area is always cleaned up after every workday. Their attention to details and their experience in their craftsmanship has produced the quality job on my deck as seen in the photos. They also use only high-quality durable products on the job; you will not see any short cuts in their work. If you need any deck work, I highly recommend South Coast Decks LLC to do the job. They are honest hardworking guys that will deliver on their promise to provide you with the best work possible.
Working with Pat, Joe, and their team exceeded all my expectations. They worked closely with me on my idea for an expanded deck with a new stair configuration, completing several designs as my needs expanded and formalized. During the build, they were communicative, transparent, and kept their working area clean and organized. Their estimate was right in line with the actual cost of the project as well. When it comes to the build itself, they are extremely thorough and build to an amazing level of quality and craftsmanship. We couldn't be happier with the deck and will be going to them for any further add ons or changes in the future. UPDATE 6/9: I’m coming back into this review to provide an update as Google doesn’t allow multiple reviews. However, if i could, I’d make this six stars. After an incredible initial build experience, Pat and Joe exceeded my expectations with some additional “comfort” work. They reached out to finish some minor sealing that couldn’t be completed in the winter (to be clear there was never a leak) and I mentioned I thought felt a little extra movement on the deck. It was never a structural concern, just a comfort question. However, they are even more meticulous in their attention to detail than me. After inspecting the deck, they decided they wanted to add additional bracing. They completed the additional work in a day and now my deck feels even more solid. I really cannot recommend South Coast decks enough. If you go with Pat and Joe, you will be on excellent hands, not only through the initial build but for any potential or perceived follow ups.
I had an old deck that was falling apart. It was only a little bit off the ground, so they came out and were like, "Why not just get a patio?" I liked the look of a deck, so we went ahead with an estimate. They came back a few days later and found out that the original deck was never properly permitted and getting the paperwork done would nearly double the price. They then said they would be more than happy with a smaller job of dismantling the deck and building new steps that would lead down to a patio, like they suggested before. They were super honest, upfront, and transparent throughout the whole process and the quality of their work was superb. I cannot recommend them enough.
