Southern Maine Heat Pumps

Southern Maine Heat Pump is an outstanding company. We first engaged them in February to assist the condo building in developing a plan for installation of mini-split heat pumps in the different style of condos. They developed a comprehensive plan that we turned into an opinion survey for the owners. Finally in September, the Association accepted the plan and incorporated it into our rules. We are the first unit to complete an install. There were concerns about the electrical panel capacity and the ability to snake a new wire to the compressor. Installation of the compressor, three interior heads and the wiring was completed in one day with no mess. The electricians did a superb job of making a few small holes to provide the proper wiring. They explained what they were doing at each step. The installation team of 3 went about their business, keeping us informed and creating no mess. At the end, they spent time explaining the system, how to use it and how to maintain it. They each have a system in their house, so they were talking from personal experience. We had next day questions that were followed up promptly. This is a professional team who is extremely friendly and competent.

Nate did a nice, professional job cleaning and servicing our heat pump. We recommend and will use them again.

Southern Maine Heat Pumps exceeded my expectations. I had neglected annual service out of fear that it would cost a fortune but when I called to make the appointment, they let me know what was included in service and the cost- amazing! I appreciated that they were willing to service the system even though they did not do the installation- I have heard this can be a big problem. Their pricing was very fair, especially considering the quality and detail of the service provided. They didn’t try to upsell or recommend any unnecessary services, which speaks volumes about their integrity. Throughout the appointment, they were courteous, professional, and generous with their time, making sure all my questions were answered. It’s clear they value customer satisfaction and take pride in their work. I highly recommend Southern Maine Heat Pumps for anyone looking for reliable, transparent, and high-quality service. I’ll definitely be using them again.

I contacted Southern Maine Heat Pumps to service my two units. The technicians who came out to service our heat pumps did an outstanding job. They were very thorough and helpful. They did a way better job than what I have experienced before with other maintenance services. We would definitely recommend them.
